[Hakkai slips in through the front door undetected, due to Tamaki's moping. He walks silently across the room until he's right behind Tamaki, assuming that the host King knows that he's there, even if he doesn't. Then Hakkai leans right over Tamaki's shoulder and says,]

Are you blowing bubbles in your drink?

[Surprise?]

[nope, he's caught completely off guard. have a Tamaki jump while in mid-bubble blowing, almost causing the drink to just splurt out all together and almost dropping it]

Ah, I'm sorry, Tamaki-san. I didn't mean to startle you.

[He seriously didn't, being creepy just comes naturally to him, or something.]

[takes another breath before he smiles and shakes his head] No, no, it's fine. My fault for spacing out like that.

But yes, everything is perfectly fine, haha! Was just taking a little break.

That is, I thought I heard you say something about the shopping district. I'm pretty familiar with most of the stores, so if you needed help finding anything...

[looks up eagerly] Really?

Well, I do need to find some new stores to buy ingredients since the ones I normally use don't restock as often. And things have gotten a lot busier since the, ah, ghosts have arrived. [and indeed, there are quite a number of the ghost NPCs chatting away and eating at various tables]

Since I cook quite a bit myself, I have to know where to find a number of ingredients. It shouldn't be a problem to find things for the cafe, and I'd be happy to help you, Tamaki-san.

[And so Hakkai became the Host Club's new dog. Ha ha.]

Actually, I thought I heard you say something about Kyouya-san. A friend of mine also went missing around that time, but... his name isn't on the list anymore, so I don't think he'll be coming back. But I think, if I can't see him right now, then maybe I should try to help the friends that are still here?
