[If he had any idea about the direction Vincent's thoughts were taking, Ken would have hit the guy on general principle.
[Ken, of course, can't read minds. As it is all he's aware of is the fact that Vincent still seems to be hellbent on finding him amusing, and that's just plain infuriating. He gives the man an angry look, setting his hands on his hips - part of him, and it's not even a very small part, is hoping that Vincent will do something that gives him an excuse to hit him. 'Being intolerably smug' doesn't quite cut it: if it did, Youji would have a lot more bruises than he does.
[It irks him more than he can say that Vincent still hasn't done anything concrete. But just one wrong move-- he thinks he can probably take this guy, if it comes to it, and he's almost hoping it will. He's curious about the 'favor' in spite of himself, though, so he hears him out - his frown only deepening as Vincent talks.]
You have a brother?
[This surprises Ken for some reason; he can't think why. He figures some of that surprise must show on his face.]
... wait, that's it? You just want me to find your brother?
[He doesn't say it, but he's thinking it: what's the catch? That probably shows in his face, too. Ken always did have indiscreet eyes.]
[There is always a catch, sweetheart. And Vincent is very good at catching. Or making catches. Or in this case, hitting on everything that moves. He extends his arm in a humble gesture, and bows his head.]
I would be forever grateful. After all, he is but my precious older brother, and I wish him well.
[Another stretch of his hand, and he reaches into his sleeve slowly, carefully, making a show out of it as though to prevent Ken from mistaking it for heavy artillery. He draws out a first aid kit from the recesses of his sleeve, and holds it out gingerly.]
In return, if I may treat your wounds, Mister Ken?
[Ken supposes that makes sense. Sort of. After all, lots of guys had brothers and could worry about what happened to them, right? Even total creeps did, even people like Masafumi Takatori had brothers and didn't Ken just know it, and that guy had wanted to be Cthulhu when he grew up! Annoying as this guy Vincent undoubtedly was, he hadn't really done anything yet: certainly he hadn't tried to grow tentacles, so that made him less creepy than Masafumi simply by default, right? Right.]
I'm sure and I... it's not a problem really but--
[But what's the catch? Is this the catch? Ken's gazing suspiciously at Vincent's sleeve as he draws something out of it: that look doesn't change when he sees what Vincent has produced. Where in the Nine Hells did Vincent get a medical kit from, out here? Ken doesn't know why but he's disinclined to trust that either, and he backs off a pace as Vincent holds it out, feeling himself starting to smile nervously.]
I'm fine, really! I... you don't have to I'm quite all right and Ken is fine, promise!
