[The king of heroes has been bored and irate for the last day. With reasons; the Trickster being in a sleep coma was something that he both sensed and witnessed, though the bigger beef?
Saber thought it smart to plan a trip to the desert with Mordred.
...No. She thought that she could do it without him noticing.
He did, but still let her go. She could take care of herself. It did not particularly anger him more than simply annoyed him - the woman was an idiot, but he was aware of that a long time ago. Still, he knew himself to be displeased; ...bah. It'll pass, surely, soon enough. Hah, she may even be forced to come back soon enough because of her son; the beasts within the desert were stupid, but powerful. Mordred was no Heroic Spirit; the human boy will not last long. ...Neither would she, actually, with the lack of a Master, more specifically. She did not possess Independent Action - that skill belonged to the Archer class alone. ...Ha. Certainly, there was nothing THAT major to be annoyed about; the troubles that she shall
( ... )
[He roared, twisting out of the way so it impacted on his side rather than his head, though it still angered him. He flew towards the shape that had angered him - objects and people were now nothing more than just targets, shapes to unleash his rage upon.]
[How dare he try to interfere with the matters of the gods?! How dare he attack an Endless?! Such insolence needed to be punished.]
[The wind seemed to gather, as he fired off an Ahryu P'ung - a sharp gale directed at Gilgamesh.]
The Bull of Heaven was a bitch and a half too. A half, because Inanna was the whole bitch, but that's unrelated details.
Tch. Figures that the single blade didn't do much - he did not use his own hands, after all. Narrowing his eyes, the blond didn't even bother to withdraw his hands from his pockets as some sort of translucent barrier suddenly sprang forth a good dozen feet directly in front him in the shape of a demisphere. White light caught on the shield as the Dragon's gale blast crashed into Aegis, the shield that protected all that Zeus was once known to possess. He gauged the blast's power from the corner of his eyes, half-heartily evaluating the field damage before half a dozen blades then emerged from space, now firing at the beast without any precise aim.
Come down here, mindless beast. The king will not be bothered to chase after you.]
[He roared, and swooped, dodging blades when he could, though a few sliced into his wings and tail, causing him to screech in pain and annoyance. He picked up speed, racing towards Gilgamesh, the tips of his wings glowing as he reared back for a strong strike.]
Of course, what else can you call one who possesses power, yet cannot fully control it by their own will?
A strong blast of energy proceeded to emanate from the otherwise normal-looking Heroic Spirit, and while it whipped his hair up like fire, the king of heroes has already chosen to not summon his armor; for a beast so blind and primitive, defense will be a concept of no use.
...Well, this may still become entertaining.]
Heh. [Assuming a low crouch as well, he... did nothing but waited for the dragon to swoop down closer
( ... )
[No go. The Bull of Heaven was a few hundred times harder to control than you - this is nothing.
...
He really didn't care for Somarium, but still, it'll be a hassle for you to smash up buildings. Frowning still, the loop around Ryu's beck tightens as he pulls, reigning the mythical beast in.
He sure was no Rider-class Servant and possessed no sub-Riding skill, but experiences gained during his real life certainly has to be taken into consideration. With narrowed crimson eyes and the light hint of a smirk, he pulled, enough to stagger the beast and make him seek higher altitudes.
Forward. It should be a piece of cake to drive this winged reptile to the desert.]
[The tightening loop aggravates him. He has no master. But the natural instinct is to try to move to where it hurts less, and so he presses onward, out towards the desert.]
[It doesn't take long before he's reached the edge of the barrier, and with a barely noticeable (to him) tingle, he's pushed through.]
[There's fewer targets out here, and his anger is starting to wane, but not enough.]
Then it's easy from here. Really, it was an interesting turn of events, but he still had no interest in this beast. It was weak, after all, and because it is weak, it is worthless.
Ryu certainly has no Master. Gil's no interest in something so fragile to begin with. That said, while he's not interested in killing the dragon, he also did have to put it down.
One single distortion appears in the air and he draws a sword. Merodach. The original of Gram, the sword that the Norse hero Sigurd used to slay the dragon Fafnir, its anti-Dragon property alone will be sufficient to greatly wound the creature with one slash.
Only using one hand to reign, the other one drew the blade, and giving it a quick whirl, he positions it downward.]
[Ethereal and ghostly, the mistress of dreams slowly materialized into view, her dragon form visible but for a brief second before fading into the fragile form of a human. She drifted silently towards the males while they battled, her eyelids still closed as she continued to stare at Ryu, looking right through him.]
Ryu. [Though she spoke directly into the young dragon's mind, her soft voice also was heard in Gil's head. He was a part of this as well, after all.] Calm yourself, young one. Such fits are above our kind.
[The sudden appearance of the second dragon even surprised the King of Heroes. Not her sudden shift in appearance, nor the drastic difference of power in both will and abilities that she possessed compared to this fledgling, but above all else--
He's felt an entity of similar magnitude before.
The hold of Enkidu slackens, but they still clung onto the beast. Gilgamesh himself only narrowed his eyes, the tip of Merodach resting lightly on Ryu's back as he stared at the entity, whose name- well, title, he could guess by her feel alone.]
...Aspect of Dream. [It wasn't a glare of anger or enmity; skepticism would be closer to the mark. She was a being who does not interfere with even the denizens of Somarium. Enough for even him to overlook her presence. So why is she here?]
[Though her blank expression remained unchanged with the greeting, the feeling of her smiling can quickly be felt through both men.
Her blind gaze turns to Gilgamesh.] Release him, wise one. This child will not harm a soul. I will not let it happen. [She moves forward again, coming to stand before Ryu. She knows that he is not completely himself, but the female dragon is more than prepared to use her full power to detain him if necessary.
No, Somarium is not the Emerald Dream, but it has become a dream realm that Ysera feels protective of. A young dragon running loose would create not only destruction throughout this plane, but also give nightmares to the residents that she would then be forced to live through.
Deathwing had already caused more than enough nightmares.]
Just as Alexstrasza, this entity was on par with Gods in another world. No, the King of Heroes held no love for gods, but his disdain was not so foolishly indiscriminate to ignore a deity from a world who held completely different laws - much less one whose goal did coincide with his own.
Her words were heeded with silence, but his crimson blood eyes did flicker acknowledgment. With a soft huff, both the sword and Enkidu disappear, leaving him now completely unarmed. She spoke truly, however; even he can feel Ryu's blind fury dissipating -- though now, it was more like he was reverting. To his human form, no doubt.
She already got this under control. He did not wait for Ryu to land before hopping off the dragon's back, landing with ease and even less a scratch onto the hot sands before Ryu himself touched the ground.]
Your arrival is belated. [He states plainly, his arms crossed as he threw a dry sideway glance at the now fully soothed dragon-boy. ...He'd be more annoyed, but it was obvious enough
