Fran was dressed to the nines. When she'd heard about the party, she first finished fastening the new ear to her head and then made the decision to go. It was beginning to feel like forever since she was able to attend a party or gala as a representative of the honorable Madaraki house.
In a flattering but not too extravagant dress with a high collar and no sleeves (stitches wholly visible), Fran moved around the party, just looking around for the moment. She smiled and nodded to anybody who looked in her direction (regardless of whether or not they smiled back). It felt nice to have a break from work. In the past few weeks, she had managed to get her experiment lab up and running smoothly. Work was much slower without her assistants, but she had picked up progress on a little project she had started before she arrived in Somarium, and was feeling quite good about life in general. (Theory: It should be possible to tap into the "personality" traits of plants. If I keep on cross-breeding them through different generations, then I should wind up with some kind of super-plant, good-natured and fast-growing, eh~ And later I can apply this to human breeding~)
She looked around for some sort of refreshments table, feeling a little bit hungry.
