Kim rolled onto her side, a slight frown creasing her face. Her bed was a lot harder than she remembered it being, and a lot lumpier. It almost felt like she was sleeping on the ground. She shifted a few more times, and when she couldn't get comfortable, she opened her eyes.
That was a lot more sky than had been there last night. And was that ... a floating castle?
Her mind immediately flashed to Rita and Zedd - had they kidnapped her and brought her here? But why? She wasn't a Ranger; she had nothing to do with them anymore!
She sat up and steeled herself. She had to get some answers, and she had to get them now.
