[Kariya watches with the usual grin plastered on his face. He liked to bait people with that grin, and the quick-tempered ones took to it almost immediately. But this girl was... hesitating. He waited patiently, knowing that pride wouldn't let her back down, but at the back of his mind he wondered if she was possibly as mature as she acted.

Ah, there, he spots the movement. To his amusement, she actually closes her eyes. Such a kid.

He steels his jaw for the impact and waits with certainty, this time wondering how the blow would sting. When her fist merely taps him, he loosens his jaw with a frown.]

[Pause. Brain registers tears. Real, actual tears.]
