Road woke up bored and to find herself kind of upset to find herself back in her cottage. Granted she had missed her dresses and candy, but wherever this world had sent her, it had been much more fun than how the

Road was all too aquainted with her uncle's bad habits and she slapped his hand as he moved to grab another vile smelling stick.

"If I can get blood stains out of the kitchen walls, repairing a little burn hole is nothing," she scoffed in reply. Her scoff turned into a pout however when Tyki merely turned back to his book. Well that wouldn't do at all. Road was bored, and when Road was bored, she needed something to satisfy her. "Play with me, Tyki! The Duke or Cyril would play with me if I was."

Road shrugged. How much those smelly things cost meant little to her. Of course, everything in Somarium was free, but she was sure Tyki would find that out in due time. Until then, she didn't see the need to tell him at all.

She was about to grin triumphantly when he let out a sigh, and she could tell that she had won.

...Except not.

"That's not funny, Tyki."

The cloud of smoke came back with a vengence and Road coughed, perhaps putting a bit more effort into dramatizing it than usual. That was how things went with Tyki.

"If the Duke were here you wouldn't be so mean," she protested waving away the cloud of smoke only snatching the cigarette and throwing it again. "You're no fun at all! You'll only be nice to those silly human friends of yours." She knew it was a low blow, but it was only the truth. Road didn't know why Tyki hadn't killed them yet. There were plenty of humans to play with in the world and in Road's eyes they were only there to serve the purposes of the Duke and as her playthings.

Road didn't know how many times the two had gone through this same fight when she was bored and wanted someone to play with her. Tyki was always her resort for fun when the Duke or a doll wasn't avaailable. She may have felt a little guilt when Tyki simply picked up his book up again. Only a little. Definitely not enough to stop bothering him though.

In response, Road merely wretched the book from Tyki's hand and threw it across the room as well. She smiled serenely, although there was a hint of a threatening tone beneath it, "Let's go have tea, Tyki. The weather is looking a lot better."

"Father loves me," Road corrected her uncle with a smug little smile on her face. "That's why he would have tea with me whenever I wanted." She didn't doubt that her uncle loved her too, but bothering him was just so much more fun. Sentimental things like that were much too human.

She hopped off the bed and tugged impatiently on Tyki's arm. "Come on! We can get all dressed up like we do back home. Anything that I put you in will be much better than what you wear when you hang around with those human friends of yours."
