It was fortunate that he had very sensitive hearing, or that timid little knock would have gone unnoticed from upstairs. Setting down the Dreamberry, Magnus lazily rose from the bed and walked over to the window, waving his wrist to open it without touching it.
Leaning his head out the opening, Magnus peered down at the door step, mouth curving when he recognized the mousy boy.
"Well, hello there," he called, folding his arms across the window-sill.

[ooc: And Alec came back to his cottage to be with Magnus until they move in a couple of days or something like that? If that's not all right, I'll just delete this and stay out of it?]
Alec felt it when Magnus's arms slipped out from underneath him, and he woke up, blinking tired eyes open. His hair was a complete mess, the sheets tangled around the lower part of his body, as he rolled over, looking for where the warlock had gone.
"Magnus?" he rasped, before clearing his throat. Then the warlock's voice reached his ears, and he looked towards the window, realizing that Magnus was not, in fact, talking to him.
Magnus smiled, glancing back towards the bed. His eyes slowly scanned the newly-awoken shadowhunter with blatant appreciation.
"It's Pierce, darling. The cute little mouse-boy that Boris tried to pawn off on me. I invited him over to hang out since I refuse to use him as slave labor."
Alec frowned thoughtfully, trying to affix a face to the name in his mind. He remembered the "mouse", but he didn't remember ever asking for the guy's name. Then again, how many half-mice/half-men were there in this place? It had to be the same person he was thinking of.
He propped himself up on his elbow, sheets still tangled around his waist and legs. "Why is he here so early, though?"
The mouse thing was waving from his spot down below and outside. "Good morning Mister Magnus! I hope I did not wake or disturb you!" Naturally, he assumed the worst, if just for the fact that he was a very hesitant creature all together.
He did not that Magnus seemed to turn his head to speak to someone. If someone else was there already, he didn't really want to intrude...
I am soooooo sorry! never got a notif for this reply! ;;highwarlockmbFebruary 22 2010, 23:25:53 UTC
"Not at all, darling!" Magnus reassured, folding his arms across the window sill and leaning out of it to address Pierce again.
"Please, come on in." With a wave of his wrist, Magnus sent the door opening in front of the little mouse, inviting him inside.
"Better throw on some pants, my love. Unless you want to hide up here," Magnus snickered, addressing Alec.
Magnus was half-dressed already, having been awake for a half hour at least chatting on the Dreamberry. He snatched a quick kiss from Alec before heading downstairs to greet their guest.

The little mouse trotted in through the now open door. It was curious that such a thing would open at the wave of a hand. Nice though. He bowed politely at the door, hoping it wouldn't close on him, finding the mouse to be unsuitable in the home.
His tail swished as he cautiously entered then looked about the place of living. It was... nice. Very nice. Pierce took a second to relax into this new environment.
He still felt like he was intruding upon something, however.
it's unforgivable! -sniff-highwarlockmbFebruary 23 2010, 12:43:12 UTC
Magnus took the stairs quickly, heading down to meet their guest.
He didn't disappoint. Pierce was already standing inside the entry, the picture of an adorably scared little mouse. He was so cute, Magnus couldn't get over it. Normally the sweet, child-like types here were a turn off and any convos with them were a dead end, but Pierce was endearing and Magnus was delighted he had decided to come after all, braving the company of the freakishly tall warlock and his demon-fighting boyfriend.
Clearing his throat so as not to startle the mouse-boy, Magnus paused at the other end of the room. "I'm glad you came. Have any trouble finding the place?"
