Fingering her newly acquired wand in her pocket, she nodded in greeting, asking, "Excuse me, are you new here?"

He was hardly intimidated by the shorter female. Curious, if anything. Slightly amused. Until she made an aggressive move, however, he could be cordial. He needed information. He had every hope of charming his way into it.
It wasn't as satisfying as using brute force, but it wouldn't attract as much attention either.

"My apologies for being so rude just then," he rattled on, lowering his eyes and staring at the snow in "shame". "I've no idea where I am, or how I got here, and my I'm terribly cold in addition. Please forgive me if I was less than civil just now."

"You'll excuse me if I'm not buying your sudden flood of apologies. In any case, this," and here she gestured around her, "is Somarium - some sort of dream world. No one knows how they arrive here or leave. It's quite puzzling." She frowned thoughtfully as if she were thinking of something.
"What I can tell you, is that you should have a phone like this," she pulled her own Dreamberry out and held it, palm up, for him to see, "on your person. It's a troubling device, as it allows people to see your dreams whenever you have them. Unfortunately, there's no way to get rid of it."
