Hermione came across the young man on her way to the library. It was obvious - to her, at least - from his blank stare and rather confused facial expression that he had just arrived. Not to mention, he was poorly dressed for winter.

Fingering her newly acquired wand in her pocket, she nodded in greeting, asking, "Excuse me, are you new here?"

"That depends. Are you going to attack me with that piece in your pocket if I say yes?" Jonathan asked, shrewd eyes glancing down at her hidden hand and back up at her face with brows raised.

He was hardly intimidated by the shorter female. Curious, if anything. Slightly amused. Until she made an aggressive move, however, he could be cordial. He needed information. He had every hope of charming his way into it.

It wasn't as satisfying as using brute force, but it wouldn't attract as much attention either.

Hermione rolled her eyes, clearly unimpressed with the boy's attitude. "Charming," she replied, letting her wand rest in her palm in plain sight. "And, no, I don't attack others with my wand unless provoked. However, seeing as how you have such a winning personality, I assume you don't need my help." She made to turn and leave.

"Wait," Jonathan said, grinning when her back was turned, but before she could look back, he sobered his expression, trying to look repentant. It was a flawless expression. He just didn't feel repentant in the least.

"My apologies for being so rude just then," he rattled on, lowering his eyes and staring at the snow in "shame". "I've no idea where I am, or how I got here, and my I'm terribly cold in addition. Please forgive me if I was less than civil just now."

Hermione was less than impressed... in fact, she was almost positive she had seen this look before, on one Yoh Takami, and that made her wary.

"You'll excuse me if I'm not buying your sudden flood of apologies. In any case, this," and here she gestured around her, "is Somarium - some sort of dream world. No one knows how they arrive here or leave. It's quite puzzling." She frowned thoughtfully as if she were thinking of something.

"What I can tell you, is that you should have a phone like this," she pulled her own Dreamberry out and held it, palm up, for him to see, "on your person. It's a troubling device, as it allows people to see your dreams whenever you have them. Unfortunately, there's no way to get rid of it."
