[Javert grimaces deeply. He would much rather spend as much time as possible away from that garishly-colored... beast. Or whatever sort of mechanized thing it is. It sounded loud enough to be a beast, but it was surely made out of some kind of alloy.]

[He pauses to frown at Kamina's tinkering with the car. This man strikes Javert as the sort with a very short attention span. The man's divided attention is distracting.]
