His eyes snapped open. A cold terrain under his back as his breath remained heavy, his mouth open. Had he screamed? Did anyone hear him? He sat up, glancing around? His hands were no longer bound but the feeling of cold metal restraining them still remained. It felt too real. This felt too real but he couldn't figure out if this was the dream continued or that next step in his journey.
Running a hand through his hair to shake that feeling from himself, he rose to his feet. He knew he wasn't in Japan , the buildings were enough to signify that much all he could do now was wander about and hope he'd come across someone who could tell him where he was.
