Who: Maka and yoooou Where: Around Somni's Residential District Style: Either way you want Status: Open like a thing that's open, so bump into her if you want. :B
[Again, it's being quite a warm day for winter, in Somarium, and again, Minato's on a stroll to get to know the entire place better.
He was also beginning to know all the different sections better, though he often found himself wander past the Business district where he lived, through the village Espoir, and then into the Residential area; the road was calm, and he liked the transition. He also was not sure why.
Still, old habits die hard. He was comfy in his coat, and there were stone benches spread across the road near the trees for people to rest on. The weather was sunny and despite the lack of leaves, the shadows proved by the tree trunks were still enough.
And on one of these benches he sat, earphones on, hands in his pockets, eyes closed, leaning against that tree-
Yeah he looks asleep. He can hear light footsteps approaching, but he doesn't want to look up to see who it is just yet.
...
It should be illegal for it to feel this nice in Winter. :|;]
[while she didn't have any intention of disturbing anyone, Maka couldn't help but pause in her steps for a moment after glancing at the boy she was passing by.
[And at that, the boy blinks opens his eyes and stares up, one hand reaching up to remove an earphone.]
...I'm not asleep.
[...Yet. Admittedly it didn't sound totally convincing. Sure this isn't exactly a class, but that's probably how someone who got caught sleeping in class should sound like.
[Beat had just come from scoping that water park again, thinking that tomorrow would definitely be a good day to test out the board he had gotten during the Secret Santa event. The map had directions to the park before and he was able to take a look some time ago
( ... )
[aaaand splat-- suddenly she was feeling ICE COLD at the back of her head. again. after letting out a surprised yelp, Maka froze (ba-dum-tssh) in place.
she didn't even have to turn around to tell who that was.]
[Stein was fairly surprised to see Maka up and about after their last conversation. She had seemed rather reluctant, probably because of whatever injury she had gotten from that fight a two weeks prior. He couldn't exactly tell at first glance but she had seemed fine now, especially if she was walking around like this. Still, Stein couldn't be too certain. That student of his was a stubborn one after all.]
[-- whoa, there was someone Maka wasn't expecting to come across today. she paused mid-step, looking up at him as if she had been caught doing something she shouldn't have been doing. if Soul had told her not to go out, that would've been one thing-- Stein saying so was a different story.]
[She's been taking careful careful tabs on the temperature ever since the setting in of winter, penning down readings from the various barometers hanging around the lab and giving careful consideration to the sole thermometer that she keeps by her bed-stand. She didn't even have to take a qualitative glance outside to be able to tell that the sun's shining and the cold spell Somarium had been experiencing the past two weeks has, apparently enough, broken for the time being.
Donning her red Aspian cloak and with a blastia body tucked safely in her textbook holder, she sets off across Somni in the direction of the shopping district. On her way there, however, she notices a familiar pig-tailed girl ambling her way along the city's sidewalks.

Ahh-- Hi, Professor. Better than I was before.

That's good. It would be a shame if you remained indoors when the weather's this pleasant.
