Maka only leaned on him long enough to make it to the concreted floor, where she seemed to comfortably sink into place. It was no comfy chair, but it'll do; her body needed a break and wherever it was didn't matter.

At his question, Maka began to finally asses the damage done to her by first rolling up the sleeve of her arm. The wound wasn't terribly deep, fortunately enough, and if she got lucky it should heal well, eventually. "This isn't too bad," she told him before rolling her sleeve back down.

Then came the worse one of the two; Maka winced when she prodded a gloved hand lightly at the gaping hole on her shirt, wondering how she was going to deal with this one. They were going to have to make do with what they had on them.

"It's pressure, isn't it?" Maka voiced her thoughts aloud as she slipped off one glove, and then the other, using them both to press against her chest. It certainly hurt at first, but these sort of procedures never were painless. "It should help a little."

Sheesh, she thought wryly afterward; she was ruining all of her clothing at this rate.
