[Dressed in a simple blouse and long skirt, Riza enters the scene, a few small gifts tucked under her arm.]

[With the Lieutenant not making a sound, her arrival unfortunately goes unnoticed. He was too busy concentrating on Hughes' odd acrobatic act to take any notice of anything else.]

According to my research this is how that Santa Claus comes into homes. I wanted to preserve the tradition.

[Riza's gotten pretty used to the crazy antics of Roy and Hughes after living with them for several weeks now. That is the only reason why her only reaction is a slight eyebrow raise at Hughes.]

Is this the way Somarium celebrates Christmas?

[He stares at Hughes before bringing his hand up to answer smartly, only just before he spoke he was cut off by Riza. He perked up and turned to face her.]

Apparently. Hello, Lieutenant.

[He then looked back towards Hughes and shook his head with a smirk.]

Oh, Hawkeye's there?

[He raises his hand to wave again before turning to look at Roy once more.]

It's not as if you could blame me for this, I didn't come up with the character.

[Steps forward to survey the situation before she moves up to the fireplace opening, ready to grab a hand and start yanking.

She glances over her shoulder to the Colonel.]

[He scoffs and nods towards Hawkeye, though he makes no effort to move.]

Perhaps we should just leave him there, hm?

[He's joking, of course, but Hughes can't see that. 8)]

[Hughes would've made some other side comment but he's just glad that they seem to be getting into it. With the help of Roy, he tries to get out of the position he got himself into.]

[As Hawkeye helps him up, Roy dusts his friend off and shakes his head again.]

And how long have you been stuck up there?

[He nods a thanks to Riza as he gets back onto his feet, and another to Roy. He dusts the soot off of himself, as well.]

I've read that there's a character named Santa who goes around giving gifts for Christmas. Why, someone dressed as him even came by a few days ago and this was similar to what he was wearing.
