Aerith grabbed a pot of poinsettas carefully done with ribbons around the rim, checking her oven to see if she had actually managed to make some cookies properly. They smelled warm and sweet and they didn't seem to be overdone at all. She blew on one and took a bite, making a small happy sound at the taste. She had put cutely done bullheads on the tops of them, since she had a conversation with him about bulls. She hoped they even looked like that..the chocolate icing hopefully hadn't melted from it's shell yet..She hoped her friend would like them. She did promise that as a way of thanking him for his assistance in her upcoming project: Giving everyone in Somarium some Christmas flowers.
She finished slipping on her boots, reaching for a long red-sleeved jacket she had found at one of the stores around Espoir, braiding her long wavy mass of hair and securing the pink ribbon, and finally pushing her ringlets out of the way to wrap her dark pink scarf around her neck. Grabbing a basket she'd normally use to put more generic flowers in, Aerith put some of the still piping hot cookies inside, wrapped in cloth while slipping in the pot of flowers. Grabbing some mittens she then headed for the door, being sure to be quiet in case Atoli was sleeping. It was early afternoon so she didn't think she was, but just in case, she left some cookies on the table in case Atoli got hungry later.
The air was cold and the snow crunched on her boots, and for some reason it reminded her of something familiar...a warm male voice and her mother's voice..a hut somewhere high in the mountains... Somehow the snow just brought back happy memories. Walking until she reached the mansion, her wide eyes took in the sight of it. "I-I hope I got this right.." She said, before walking towards the door and pulling the knob, making sure her basket was wellwrapped.
