It was cold. That was the first thing he'd noticed-- and then he noticed at all. He could feel his robes dampening against the cold snow that had previously fallen on the ground, and with an annoyed shove, he pushed up from the ground to sit on his knees. The cold was uncomfortable, and he couldn't control the shiver that drew over him as he finally got to his feet. He pulled his cold robes around him tightly and scowled as his eyes finally descended upon the scene before him. It took him minutes to even begin to grasp at his current situation-- was he dead? He knew he should be. He quickly looked down, the wound that had been inflicted upon him due to that God-awful snake had disappeared and he could move around freely.
Then perhaps that was his answer. A wound doesn't just disappear, after all. But then, where were the dead ones he knew he'd been promised? Where was she? Had he made it to hell, or was it just another hell to keep him from where he wanted to be?
He ground his feet into the snow agitatedly, his hands quickly searching his robes for any trace of his wand-- and there it was, in his inside pocket. He felt no desire to hold it-- that was his wand and he was sure of it. Slowly, he lifted his left sleeve up and found the mark he wished would disappear, and his mood darkened. He hadn't noticed the Dreamberry that weighed inside his other inside pocket. He was far too distracted with questions. His black eyes fell onto the nearest person, and he sneered.
"You," he said quietly, "will tell me where I am."
