Once things had settled with Omi, Aya had taken to figuring out how his dreamberry worked. It seemed to be much like a phone with internet access. That was the simplest explanation anyways. It had a list of contacts that seemed to update of its own accord. However, he wasn't prepared for the new name he found on the list.
Fujimiya, Aya
Only...this wasn't his name. He knew that. For the longest time, he stared at the screen of the device before leaving without a word and following the signal to the location. He had to see for himself. She shouldn't be here. It was too dangerous and...
He hesitated when he was about halfway there. What if she saw him? The idea of that alone made his blood run cold. Only sheer willpower to at least see if she was alright kept him moving through the shadows in her direction.
Aya had not walked for very long before the road split to either side around a rather large piece of private property. Both paths looked to be about the same. Aya gave up with the mini-computer for the time being and stashed it back in her pocket, then frowned at the choice before her.
The village seemed deserted, but in Aya's experience, the best way to be found was to be doing something you shouldn't be doing. The answer to her problem was then obvious: she entered the courtyard of the mansion and began snooping around.
The signal was moving but it wasn't moving fast. Unlike him. He was almost running to the location his device indicated. There were dueling thoughts racing through his mind. Battling for dominance.
One side said that he couldn't see her. It would stain her with the blood that covered his body. He'd killed so many in her name. His little sister's name. But the other side knew that Schwarz was here and that they might find her. That she might be in danger from unknown factors that came with this place. And that fact was winning right now. He was allowing it rule right now.
Catching his breath, he checked the device and slipped into the shadows further as he rounded a corner. And stopped breathing out just one word. A name. So quietly it was almost inaudible.
Aya did not know right away that her plan had worked. She had wandered to the rear of the yard and taken to peeking inside the smaller dwellings on the property. Occasionally the little pocket device made a noise, but Aya hardly knew what to do about it. The cash register at work she could handle without a problem. She could use a computer to type papers and store information, and even used e mail a little. This crazy little gizmo, however, was out of her league, and Aya was no longer more interested in trying to figure it out than in trying to find other people

Zoro found himself wandering Espoir again, looking for a secluded spot to train. It was harder nowadays, seeing as there were more and more people arriving each day. A touch irritated, he took a sudden turn in his straight path only to run into another person in his intended destination. Adjusting his swords (just in case the seemingly little girl was an enemy), he made his way towards her.
When Aya had decided she needed to find someone, a grouchy-looking man armed with three swords was not what she'd had in mind. And oh, bloody hell, he'd turned and started walking right for her

Whether she looked scared or not, Zoro ignored it since he wasn't all that interested in the reactions of other people. Even if it was a helpless little girl. He started to answer her question, but then stopped to rub his chin.
"Actually, I was going to ask you the same thing. You're new here, aren't you?"

HOW DID HE KNOW THAT?!
Aya took another moment to calm down. His answer was, in a way, very reassuring. He didn't sound angry. He didn't sound ready to become violent. He sounded like he meant it: he was as puzzled as she was about their location.
"I-I am..." She admitted. Well, what the heck? Aya tried a smile. "I'm Aya Fujimiya. It's nice to meet you, Mr...?"
