[A shadow descends upon Somarium.
The moon has become a solid black hole, the sign of a new moon. All at once, the flickering candlelight, the cackling jack-o-lanterns, all the electricity in Somarium extinguish. There's the howl of a fierce wind blowing from the desert. Even those within the thick confines of the floating palace can fill the singe of heat from the gust. The howling of the wind reaches a crescendo, piercing the ears of all who are awake to hear it...
And suddenly, it stops. The world falls silent.
The lights dimly flicker back on.]
