In the beginning, there was nothing but the silence.
And from the silence, there came the ligh-

[And then, there were bricks flying in all the usual directions, like north and south and south-east and north-west and what not. And then, there were bricks flying in all sorts of new and exciting directions, such as the 'north of the southeast of west', and the 'south of the 57th degree away from the north', and the 'noreast' and 'souweseast' and 'eawessounorth of the 37th acute degree from the magnetic north pole'.
Which, in this case, really was the south pole, but I digress.
And then, there was a pathway through the wall about the size of five sheep robots stacked head to toe and several brick-layers deep leading from one of the walls of the Grand Hall to the Courtyard that decidedly wasn't there before. Within the settling dust, one could barely make out the outline of two very bad-ass looking fifteen-year-olds doing a very dramatic 2-person rendition of Charlie's Angels, one dramatically 10 inches shorter than the other - and the height difference would have been funny if it hadn't been for the glowing glyph beneath her feet and the ring of fire that was currently extinguishing itself over the other's shoes.
Because then, it just kinda looked scary.
After a moment of stunned silence, in which startled birds dodged bricks falling out the sky, the shorter one pushed the goggles up back into her hair forcefully, brushing the soot that had settled into her hair, and turned to the other with an emphatic thumbs up.]
... Can we do that again?
