Everyone will come to a rude awakening when they discover that not only are they not in the beds they had fallen asleep in the night before, but they were in a large grand hall of a castle.
After reorienting themselves, they may discover a group of ghosts huddled near the steps leading to an empty throne. Upon further investigation, they will discover that the body of one of the ghosts will be lying on the ground, a strange translucent ooze pooling beneath her. It's Precious, the young girl.
It's a grisly sight. Her back is torn open, as if something had pierced through it, and there is a hole shot right through the center of her forehead. It's clean, with no trace of the strange liquid that could be assumed to be blood. There is also no exit wound. Strange burn marks could also be found on various parts of her body, almost like strange rope or whip marks. They are most prominent around her arms and legs.
What in the world could have done this?

Directions for this post: This is pretty much serving as an open post for everyone and is a 2-in-1 sort of log to save time and f-list spamming. There are two main thread sections that you can respond to:
Initial Awakening will allow characters to react to their surroundings and to anyone they might wake up next to (completely random and up to you).
Dead Body Discovery is for anyone who wants to go ahead and investigate Precious' body. They are free to touch and physically examine.
The ghost NPCs will be around to respond in any way they can.
The mission post will be posted later tonight, if not on Monday. But this post is primarily the set-up and "settling" in. It is just focused on the current scene. You are free and encouraged to branch off from this post and start your own logs. Remember the tags!]
