[She's sitting alone in the seating area with a book in her lap. Her posture is upright and, for once, she actually looks feminine as she focuses on the text in front of her. Cornelia had invited Jaina over for a visit, but no specified time was arranged. After a long workout, she had decided to shower first, of course relax for awhile before her guest arrived.
But relaxation has never been one of her strong points. She's finding it a little difficult to concentrate on the book. After seeing
Arthas' dream, she felt a little awkward talking to Jaina. Perhaps it is because the younger woman is so much more experienced than she is or maybe it's just the idea of seeing something so personal about a person that she cares about. It's clear that the man still has romantic feelings for Jaina, and while she doesn't trust him, there is a part of her that wishes to help mend the gap that has formed between them in the years that Arthas has yet to live in their world.
As much as she keeps telling herself that she's not trying to play matchmaker or interfere, there really is no other way to describe WHY she invited Arthas over without telling Jaina. She feels guilty and wonders how her friend will react when she sees him; if she'll get mad at Cornelia or if the evening will end peacefully. She's curious about how they will act around each other and since she has never met this man in person, she hopes to read his intentions from his actions.
Sighing, she closes the book shut and brushes the bangs from her eyes as she settles back into the chair with a deep sigh. Well, the damage has been done. Might as well just wait for it to come and then ride it out.]
