Stahn opened his eyes expecting to be in his house, expecting to be shouted at for sleeping in late again by his sister however none of that happened. He looked about and noticed the fountain of espoir, looking at the water flowing from it.

Polka made her way out of cottage number 3 in Espoir, and noticed the fountain.

It didn't look like it was damaged at all, even the village didn't seem like it was attacked by a sandstorm just recently. It was slightly odd and confusing to the young girl but she would just think that this was all magic.

Suddenly, she realized that someone she had never met before was standing at the fountain.

She made her way over to the man, and spoke up, "Hello, are you new here?"

Stahn quickly turned around when he heard the voice.

He looked at the young girl suspiciously at first, "Yes I suppose I am new here."

Stahn quickly calmed down when he realised that the girl didn't seem like an enemy nor did it seem like she would attack him, "My name is Stahn Aileron, what is your name?"

"I've never seen you here before, so I wasn't sure", she mutters shyly.

Polka noticed that he was a little suspicious of her, but after she heard his question, she realized that he was a little more comfortable.

"My name is Polka.", she replied, "It is nice to meet you Stahn."

Stahn smiled at her thinking of what he should say to this girl who he has just met.

After a few seconds he opened his mouth again and said, "Where am I? and how did I get here?"

Polka thought about this carefully. After all, she was still sort of new, and it wasn't the easiest thing to explain.

What if he didn't believe her?

"Well..", she began, "This is Somarium and you are currently in the village of Espoir."

Now for the next question, not even Polka knew the real answer to this one, but she had a good idea about it.

"Well, I think you get here in your dreams. But I am not sure myself."

Stahn thought to himself, Hmm, Somarium? Get here in your dreams? How unusual.

"So... does that mean I am in my dreams?", he asked the girl curiously.

"Sort of.. You have fell asleep and got to this dream world", she responded.

Why was this so hard to explain? She really wished she had asked more questions to Frederic now!

"The dreamberry", she pulls out her dreamberry, it's shape as a phone right now, "takes our dreams and shows them to everyone in the world."

"Interesting...", he responded a little surprised.

He started looking around at his surroundings before turning back to the girl.

"Are the people here nice like you Polka? You certainly seem nice anyway."

Polka blushed slightly, "Why, thank you."

He made the girl feel a little shy, but he was right. She was very very nice.

"So far, all of the people I have met are really nice." she responded.

Stahn smiled at the girl, seeing that she was slightly blushing.

"Well I hope I meet more nice people then."

Stahn thought about more things he could ask before speaking again.

"How big is this place anyway?"

Polka wasn't even sure about this. She had never actually seen the full extent of Somarium, though she could always look it up in her dreamberry.

Pulling the dreamberry into her hands again, she glances at it, and finds a picture of the world map and hands it to Stahn.

"I've not seen the full world, but this is what it looks like. It looks big to me, don't you agree?"

"You're right, it does look big", Stahn said as he gazed around at his surroundings. "I can't wait to see just how big this world is."
