[Undertaker hurries up the stairs and moves the gigantic coffin, opening the door slightly as he puts a log sleeve behind Zuko's head to shield him from the sand as he led him inside. He moved the gigantic coffin back to its place and gave the boy a grin.]
Sorry bout this. Zuko was dumb for staying out in the open for so long.prince_hotheadSeptember 2 2009, 00:13:06 UTC
[Zuko collapsed to his knees as soon as he knew he was safely inside, coughing harshly as he finally got some relief from being forced to breathe in dust and sand. He was definitely not wearing the appropriate clothing for going out in that kind of a storm. You could see that the skin on his face and arms was bright red in places from being buffeted by the sand. Those things weren't really a problem to him right now, since his hands went right up to his eyes.
It is definitely nowhere near fun trying to see when you don't have googles during a sandstorm, but he couldn't just feel his way to this place. As a result, he knew that it had to have been that creepy Undertaker guy who let him in, but his eyes were stinging so badly that he couldn't see very well at all.]
Thanks... [Now he was shakily getting back up to his feet, with one hand over his eyes for the moment as he tried to force himself to blink the damn stuff out. ]
[Kyou decides to take advantage of the lull to find a decent place to take shelter. Makes his way to a the shop because it seems to be holding up pretty well despite the storm. Have some loud banging on the door.]
[Undertaker moves the gigantic coffin away from the door and opens the door slightly, using a long sleeve to shield Kyou from the sand. Once the boy is inside, he closes the door and puts the coffin back.]
[Dusts off the sand from his hair and his clothes before surveying the place he had just walked into. Okay... kinda creepy, but anywhere else that wasn't outside or falling apart from the storm was fine with him.]
[He's been watching the storm pretty closely, and timing the lulls. Now he takes advantage of the next one to make his way to the shop belonging to that interesting...person he spoke to once. Because he's intrigued. And also the storm, but that's a small detail. 8D]
Mm~ How bothersome this sand is.
[And he'll be knocking politely and calmly on the door now, making sure it's loud enough to be heard.]
[Undertaker sure is getting his exercise because of you damn kids Undertaker moves the gigantic coffin away from the door and opens it slightly, extending a long sleeve around Break to shield him from the sand. Once he's inside, Undertaker pushes the coffin back.]
Ohh~ I remember you~ Come, come~ We're in the cellar~ [He opens the cellar door]
Deathwing was hardly in the mood for pleasantries.
The Aspect of Earth had yet to take advantage of surveying the area and thus, when the sandstorm hit, he found himself unable to locate a safe haven. What disturbed him more was his inability to completely halt the onslaught. He hadn't noticed it until then...his power had been drained, which would no doubt prove troublesome in the future.
However, it was not so drained to keep him from forcing his way into the Undertaker's morgue, unaware of its occupants. The now-human Prestor ignored the now roasted sand coating his hair and various robes -- the few wounds on the mortal flesh mattered little to him as well. Deathwing's eyes remained completely unharmed, leaving him to scan the surroundings with sand-filled lungs.
If there was one thing the Aspect did not take kindly to, it was being caught unaware.
The Undertaker has sensed a massive entity approaching his morgue. However, he was surprised when he found Deathwing inside his morgue, the coffin pushed away from the door. Quickly, he moved the coffin back to its rightful place and studied the human form of the dragon. There as something about him that intrigued the Undertaker...
Ah yes, now he remembered~ The Life-Binder's dream~ The Reaper may not have known what was the relationship he had with the Life-Binder, but he still decided to help the dragon.
He filled a bucket with clean water and went over to the human-form of Deathwing. The Undertaker pulled out his scythe and held it close as he poured the water over the dragon's eyes to clear the sand.
Prestor's amber eyes snapped towards the Undertaker upon noting movement, causing him to straighten up pompously. Those eyes narrowed slightly as he ran a hand through his hair briefly to rid it of some of the sand that stubbornly clung to the raven-tinted locks.
Without his near-limitless power here, halting such a large storm long enough for him to get out of it proved rather tiring.
Not that he would ever admit it.
His eyes never left the approaching man with his bucket of water. The weapon was noted. While stuck in this form, drained of energy, there was little he would be able to do against something like that. The dragon's teeth grit slightly when the Undertaker attempted to clear the sand from his eyes, but forced himself to keep from making any outburst just yet.
