Who: Nero, anyone who likes invading privacy
Where: Cottage #20
Style: Either or
Status: Open! Literally...
Okay, so getting a place to live here was extremely easy. Pick an empty building and claim it? Too easy, he assumed. There had to be some sort of catch.
Standing in front of the door, Nero heaved a heavy sigh. Having never owned a house before, he was absolutely clueless on what to do first. Did the place already have furniture? He certainly hoped that it did. He also hoped that it was already set up, decorating and feng sui were practices he definitely wasn't good at, and wouldn't be good at for a long time to come. Would he have to keep the house clean? This place was already extremely backwards and messed up, was it too much for him to hope that it would actually clean itself too?
Placing all the free stuff he had gotten at that odd shop on the floor beside him, he took out his keys, blankly staring at them. Nero, being the extreme pessimist that he was, couldn't even look on the bright side of owning his own house. Typical.
He began fumbling with the keys in the lock, the struggle lasting a whole minute before the door opened. So far so good. Picking up all of his things, Nero hesitantly walked through the door, expecting the worst. His lips twitched into a small grin, it wasn't as bad as he had thought.
Clean. Small. Homey. Furnished with the standards for living.
Closing the door behind him and forgetting to lock it, he placed everything on the floor in front of the door and walked inside to investigate further, disappearing behind the nearest wall.
Much to his knowledge, the unlocked door blew open, sending a silent invitation for entry to everyone who just might happen to pass by.
