Well now, wasn't this curious? Jareth knew that the Labyrith was always changing especially now that he no longer possessed control over it, but he never expected to pause for a rest against a brick wall one moment and wake up with his back against a tree and covered in snow the next. He struggled to his feet, carefully brushing himself off and readjusting his cloak before taking a look around, eyeing the quaint country houses covered in snow that surrounded him, raising an eyebrow. Nothing like this existed in the Labyrinth, unless dear Jareth Jr. had been able to learn how to manipulate it quicker than he thought the young lad would.
Looking beyond the small houses made him realize otherwise, however, as he spotted the tall skyscrapers that really only existed in the human world. It brought a frown to his face; now he knew he hadn't made it to the human world yet, and this certainly did not look like anything that would be in a place as normal as Virginia anyway. He paused a moment to look around for anyone that could be watching, before he slipped around the tree he had been sleeping against... and reemerged on the other side wearing a plain business suit and tie, his wild hair slicked back and a pair of glasses settled on the bridge of his nose. For now, until he knew otherwise, it would be safer for him to appear the part of a human being.
He started off to the road... before spotting a field of scarecrows masquerading as snowmen that he had missed before, seemingly watching his every move. Jareth raised an amused eyebrow, before inclining his head to them.
"Good day, gentlemen. Such a devilishly cold day, isn't it?" he asked as if they could respond, before raising a finger to his lips. "No telling now."
[[OOC: Yes, it's my sample post readjusted for the change in weather. XD;; *lazy*]]
