Minako hoped she wasn't too early for Soma, when she made her way to the Enveria Apartments, and knocked on the door to room 207.
"Soma-san? Are you here?" She'd taken a quick trip to the mall after her talk with Soma yesterday, and gotten a new comb and some detangling agent, hoping it would be enough.
It was odd having visitors that weren't Allelujah's friends. It was almost like living at her own home.
"You've made it," the young woman unhooked the door chain, allowing Minako to step inside, "Please excuse the sparse furnishing. We don't spend much time inside as it is."
"May I ask what you do for a living?" Soma's hands shifted back by habit to retie her hair, "Excuse me. That sounds like a line of interrogation there.
Minako laughed. "Honestly, it's refreshing to have everyone ask me that! I'm so used to having to sneak around back home, so that I'm not hounded by fans, since everyone knows who I am. I'm a pop idol."
"You're an artist? Really?" Soma blinked, taking the armchair by the sofa, the only other seat in the room, "I should have guessed. You look pretty enough to be on television."
Minako nodded sadly. "I do," she admitted. "Back home, I almost gave it up... But my friends made me realize how much I loved it, and how I couldn't give it up."
The words resonated with Soma, even if it showed only in her eyes, "I see. I don't think it would be entirely impossible not to do it here, quiet as this place could get at times." she pushed the teacup forward, rolling the words over in her mind.
"Perhaps this place isn't so bad after all," Soma mused aloud. She, at least had a chance at a fragile peace ever since she arrived. Perhaps a dream world was ironically fitting for that.
"So, how do we do this?" she gathered her hair over one shoulder; a part of it had bunched toward the middle in her sleep, "I know it looks embarrassing..."
Minako looked at her hair, then pulled the comb and detangling agent out of her bag. She checked the instructions quickly, to make sure it worked the same way as what she'd used in the past.
"Do you have a kitchen chair or anything where you can sit high enough for me to work on this? I'll try not to pull too badly."
Allelujah's favorite kitchen table would have to do (she wasn't going to use her own). It looked out of place once dragged in the livingroom, but she Soma sat willingly on it all the same. Getting rid of all that excess hair weight was going to be a relief.
