Matsuri was gone. Kohane didn't really feel anything over it--she'd only spoken with the girl once. Her only real concern was that Danny might be upset, but she couldn't say for sure, since she didn't know much about the two's relationship.
Her next thought was that she had to take care of the roses. She realized that she'd been asleep for a while, and she had no idea if Danny had bothered to look after them meanwhile. Minatsuki wouldn't like it if they died and, frankly, neither would Kohane. It wasn't just for Peorth; she herself had some attachment to the roses.
And so, in the late afternoon, she was standing outside the church, watering them carefully. Everything was quiet, aside from the trickle of water.
