The Witch came from across the plaza. She had found a small cottage she had thought about turning into a new shop like the one she used to own before being brought to this world. It was conveniently located between the tavern and Guy's dojo. The poor blond man had quickly became Yuuko's favorite victim to tease. She couldn't help wonder what would happen if her pupil and him met one of these days. It would surely turn out very interesting...
Her crimson eyes quickly spotted Dean and she lightly waved at him. She had chosen to wear a more western look today, leaving her usually charged kimonos at home.
The young man seemed even more tormented in real life, despite his aloof demeanor. His green eyes were ones of someone that had already seen too many things in one's life.
She walked up to him with a carefree smile: "Good evening Dean. It's nice to finally meet you face to face..."
"Same to you, Yuuko." Dean replied with a grin. He couldn't help but scan her over really quick.
"You ready to go have that drink?"
He wasn't sure how he felt about telling her about what he saw on a daily basis, but if she was like everyone else in this place then she wouldn't be very surprised.
"Of course I am...This way..." she said, gesturing at the tavern's sign not too far from them.
"It's hard to believe that you haven't been on a date in a very long time...." she said with a raised eyebrow, her gaze appreciatively roaming over Dean.
It wasn't that the Witch was looking for a relationship. Experience had made her aware that the faster you built a web of contacts, the faster business would come to you. She was also interested in any news about this world and about its people. It was always a good thing to know one's surroundings well. And of course, flirting with cute men always came as a bonus in her eyes.
He'd gotten away with checking her out and not getting a dirty look. He was starting to like this chick.
Dean started to walk with her, and when she spoke again he couldn't help butlaugh a little bit.
"My brother Sammy and I were on the road a lot...it's kinda hard to find dates that way."
Luckily for Yuuko, Dean wasn't really looking either. He was never one to get really involved with anyone, however that didn't mean he wasn't capable of doing it. It was his occupation really...you couldn't have ties to anyone you cared about like that or they may end up in severe danger or dead. Plus you couldn't really get to know someone well enough to have anything while just passing through a town.
She walked up the few stairs and waited in front of the door of the tavern. Yuuko turned around slightly to look at Dean. So he was a traveling man. Interesting...
"Why were you two on the road so much?" she asked innocently while waiting for him to open the door.
Dean didn't miss a beat and pushed the door open, holding it there for her.
"Family business. We uh...hunted vengeful spirits to save innocent people."
He was beginning to feel less and less weird about telling the truth about what he did for a living. Where he came from, saying things like that would get you put away. But here...well it was full of crazy.
She walked through the door with a curt nod and hid her surprise as Dean explained his family business. It was strange that she had not picked up the same vibe that Doumeki had around him. But then again, there was a good chance that the archer and Dean used different methods to banish spirits from the living world.
"So you are an exorcist?" she asked with a knowing smile. She moved to sit at a corner table, one that would leave them in peace to have this conversation.
"Not quite. That's more of my brother Sammy's area of expertise, though I've had to exorcise my fair share of demons. No...really we hunt anything supernatural that poses a threat to people. Skinwalkers, vampires, you name it and I've probably fought one."
Dean sat down across from her and sighed a little.
"But I don't know if my occupation there will work out here, y'know? There are so many strange people, I'm a little outnumbered. I'd end up being the hunted one if I pissed the wrong vampire or whatever else off."
He wasn't going to lie, he had taken care of some witches. In his defense, they were working with the demons. He wasn't sure how he would feel about a neutral or good witch, but he knew he wouldn't attack them for no reason.
"Yeah...but when they're killing innocent people for their own personal gain with their magick, I think they have it comin', y'know? And as for staying out of trouble...when the apacolypse happens, maybe."
Yuuko nodded, not truly surprised the hunter had taken care of some of her kind in his world. Suffice to say, she knew that she shouldn't be worried about him trying to kill her. After all, taking someone's life was something the Time and Dimension Witch would never do. The cost on one's soul was too high.
She laughed at his joke: "Well, let us hope that trouble will always find you then!"
When the server finally got to her table, she ordered sake for herself and waited for Dean to choose his alcoholic poison.

"Indeed this world seems to have a lot of supernatural people living here. But then again, this world seems to be...very special in its own way."
The black haired woman laughed softly: "Then I guess you'll have to stay out of trouble. But tell me, Dean....can you?" she asked, clearly amused.
