Kureno sighed, letting the Dreamberry fall into his lap. He had lost track of the number of days he'd been in this crazy world. He remembered arriving... and somehow managing to convince the woman that he was fine to go out on his own after a good night's rest. Kureno knew he wasn't fine... and that woman probably knew it, too. But he didn't want to trouble her, and he some part of him was beginning to believe that this world was his punishment for not pushing Akito away sooner

The pain was evident and he frowned more while he ignored the apology. For some reason people seemed to like apologizing to him because he came to them to do his job. He'd stopped trying to figure it out. Instead, he studied the color of Kureno's skin. And then he gently rested a hand on his shoulder to guide him back into laying down. It would be more beneficial if he wasn't trying to get up

"My... lower back," Kureno replied. "And, yes, I think the woman bandaged it after giving me stitches."
Kureno was suddenly glad it was Hatori here to help him. His older cousin had always been the most level headed of the bunch. He still wasn't sure what to tell Hatori should he ask about the cause of the stab wound. After all, it wasn't as if his job as Akito's secretary was dangerous. He also rarely left the house. He was sure Hatori was piecing these facts together as he worked. It was only a matter of time before he inquired, and Kureno knew he was an awful liar.
Lower back. Yes, that would explain the difficult rising.
He would thank whoever chose to gift him with a medical bag later.
Carefully, Hatori helped to turn Kureno onto his stomach. His only words for that were "Get comfortable." He wasn't sure how long this would take. After all, this was his patient so he wanted to investigate the work of this woman. Lifting Kureno's shirt, he studied the bandage. It looked proper. However, that wouldn't satisfy him.
Gently, he removed the bandages to study the wound. It could have been much worse. The stitches were neat. He was impressed by that. But it was obvious that they would need to be redone.
Reaching into his bag, he sat on the edge of the bed. "I am going to have to replace these. And I will need to you stay in bed to rest after I am done."
