Yukina was not very fond of the idea of staying inside of the cottage she had been staying in at the moment. After all, it was a rather nice day out, and there were quite a few other people out and about in the village, not to mention the birds and other similar creatures that called the village home. So there she was, sitting outside and playing with the birds, not at all noticing Hiei due to being far too preoccupied with her own activities.

don't worry about it! shorttemperwill June 7 2009, 22:41:32 UTC
The half breed was cruising along the path, silent, and calm as he did walked. Some things were not meant to be seen, and he saw everything, except a way out. He was almost like a caged animal. That made the boy a bit irritated. Though at the same time, he was finding out where Yukina was. He certainly would have not liked anything unpleasant happening to her. Of all the people that were here, Yukina was one of them, and it bugged him.

IT was one of his weaknesses his sister, but he wouldn't admit it or even tell her the truth. He paused, finding the girl up ahead being occupied with her usual things, he recalled. Playing with birds and animals again. He approach her slowly with silent steps.

Yukina could tell that Hiei drawn nearer, despite his silent footsteps, because she could not only feel his presence, but could also tell that someone had come close since the birds she had been playing with had flown away. She glanced around for a moment, looking for whoever may have disturbed the birds, before actually noticing Hiei. When she did notice him, Yukina smiled brightly at Hiei, rather glad to see someone she recognized from home.

"Mister Hiei! It is very nice to see you in person."

She was a lot more perceptive then he had given her credit before. Then again, it was his sister he was talking about here, so she wasn't exactly stupid. She was just as clever as he was, even though he would never tell her that. He nodded his head briefly as he approached the aqua haired girl. It had been a while since he had seen her. The girl seemed perfectly fine, unharmed and in one piece. If anything were to befall her, he would probably wreak hell on this world, even though he was barely here to begin with.

"I suppose so," he mused to her.

"Was everyone else all right before you arrived here?" she asked. There were numerous things she wished to ask Hiei, since he was the only person here so far that she was rather familiar with, but she thought it best to wait a while between questions.

"Oh! And are you all right, Mister Hiei? You weren't harmed in any way upon arriving here, were you?" she added quickly after she had asked the first question. Though she was the most concerned with how Yusuke and Kazuma would be faring and if she had worried them in any way, Hiei was a part of their group, as well, and she would be rather upset if anything bad were to happen to him.

Nah you're fine. Yukina's cute <3 shorttemperwill June 9 2009, 06:41:19 UTC
He nodded his head, "They're capable of handling themselves," he mused calmly towards the maiden that was the same height as he was. Even their stature was almost equivalent. You do wonder how people couldn't figure out their relationship. HE didn't see why she had to be worried about anyone. If anything, she should be more concerned about herself. There she went again. Sometimes he gets annoyed of these things but he bear with them for his own reasons.

"No, I'm fine," he replied monotone towards her again. He was going to add another comment but he didn't just for the sake of their peace right now, "How about you? I take it you had no injuries upon arriving here, right?" he inquired.

"I know that they are, Mister Hiei, but even they can still get injured. I'm glad you're all right, though," she replied. Hiei may feel that she worries too much about others, but really, she thought it was only natural to do so. She disliked seeing anyone harmed, even those that have harmed her in the past, so it makes sense that she would worry more about those closest to her. Worrying about her own well-being before that of her friends had never even crossed her mind, as a matter of fact, especially not in a place like this.

"No, I am all right."

He wished she would be less like that. Yukina was always in trouble because of that. It irritated him, but he knew long ago how she was like and what she did. She couldn't hurt anyone, and it was the truth. He stopped speaking and looked at her.

"Do what you like," he mused before pausing again and then speaking, "Good," if she wasn't. He was about to hunt down whoever had injured her if that was the case. He was outside searching about and what was her purpose outside, he wondered, but the most part was, he knew she resided at. At least he could keep an eye on her from time to time

Yukina was silent for a moment after Hiei replied to her, thinking over the other questions she had. Aside from being concerned about her friends' well being, there was the matter of the tournament they were competing in at the moment. Yusuke's team had just won a rather difficult round, it seemed (though she hadn't seen the entirety of the fight, so she could not say for certain), and not only were they injured, they had two other rounds to compete in. Naturally she was still quite worried about the others, but Hiei had just arrived here, and she had no idea if he had gotten situated in Somarium yet.

"Ah, Mister Hiei," Yukina started, having made up her mind which question to ask (as really, at the moment, it was the more pressing issue). "Have you gotten settled in here in Somarium yet?"

He could tell by her facial expression easily that she was eager to ask something, or say something, but he didn't press it on her. He remained watching the ice maiden with his bold red hues, waiting for her to speak again. He thought he had mentioned for her to stop calling him, 'Mister' Hiei so much. He wasn't really one caring about formalities.

He eyed her when she called his name once more. He had yet to settle in, and he admitted just that to her, "No, I haven't. I'm taking in the surroundings first," he mused calmly to her, not sure why she brought it up all of a sudden, but he had a slight clue why. He let his eyes fix on the aqua haired girl once more, waiting for what would come next. She seemed to be pressing it a bit more than he liked, but unlike everyone else, she was different. The way he acted, and spoke around her were completely different from when he talked with his companions or enemies.

"Oh, well, I do know that most places in the city are vacant, and there are quite a few other houses in the village that are vacant, as well. If you were looking for a place to stay, that is," she replied. At the moment, it was more important to make sure that Hiei was settled in here properly, she could ask about the others later. Helping Hiei get situated, after all, would make her feel like less of a burden on anyone else, here or back home.

She was telling him things he knew about already, but it was fine with him. He didn't give her such a cold shoulder as he would everyone else. At least for certain he could find a place to reside. Most likely it would be near her so that he could keep an eye on her, the usual thing he did. There would be no danger to Yukina, at least that was how he was going to attempt to make it seem like.

"Which is the closest, empty residence to you?" he mused. It was a question that he was certain she knew the answer to. She was here before he was. He found a perfect spot, but he wanted to see what she had to show him. Despite her thoughts about be a burden, he didn't really care if she was, even though he acted like he found her as a burden.

She paused for a moment before answering to think about which cottages truly were empty. After all, she had yet to meet most of the people around here, and would hate to give Hiei false information.

"Well," she started hesitantly. "I admit I am not truly sure which of the buildings near here are occupied and which aren't, but I believe that that there is a house over in that direction that is not being used by anybody."

As she spoke, Yukina gestured politely toward one of the near-by cottages. Though she hadn't spoken much with those near her, she had seen some people coming and going in most of the cottages, save for that one.

((OOC: That is, if cottage 7 is really unoccupied. The Wiki says so, buttttt...))

He allowed it as he waited for an answer from her, ruby hues fixed on his sister without saying much. If it wasn't offered. When she pointed, he knew exactly where it it was. It was a good indication that he could stay close and watch her without any trouble at all. The half breed was almost pleased by the fact that it isn't occupied.

"That will be fine," he mused in a calm manner, his eyes moved away from her and fixed on the surrounding for a moment. This dream world was starting to become real odd, and he wasn't prepared for it, but adjusting would be fine, with a few complications. +

oo: nope it's not and I claimed it XDD

"Is there anything else you need to know about Somarium, Mister Hiei?" she asked after a short silence. "I have not been here that long, I admit, but if there's something you need to know, I can try to help as best I can."

She wasn't sure how much information Hiei had gathered on his own thus far, after all, and would rather be of assistance in some way than a hindrance in any way, and at the moment, all she really had to offer was information she had learned about Somarium.
