Tieria's choleric temperament did little to phase her, despite the 'unhumorous' circumstances. Sumeragi was, however, shocked to see him in the flesh. His physical composition had been disconnected from his mind as soon as his heart stopped working during their final mission. And he had continued to live on metaphysically through Veda. Sumeragi rubbed her forehead, closing her eyes for a moment as she tried to think through this. She shook her head slightly.

I need a drink.

Not only was she surprised to see him, but his words were... confusing. "Humorous?" Her eyes glanced about them. "What about this situation is humorous? We have all been split up, and I have no idea where the rest of the crew is. My message was meant to contact each of you to ensure your safety so that I can locate the Ptolemaios and assess the damages."

Her hands moved to her hips. "Never mind that. What is going on here? Who stole your DNA and regenerated your cells, and how could they have possibly grown so quickly so that you are now a living, breathing organism?" Sumeragi sighed, taking a deep breath that was intended to calm her nerves. Her arms crossed over her chest and she narrowed her eyes at him sternly. "Tieria, please explain to me what is going on."

He turned to see the woman approaching, "The Ptolemaios is nowhere near this place, Sumeragi Lee Noriega. I cannot tell you where it is, considering I have been here for nearly 10 months. The last time I saw the Ptolemaios, it was in pieces."

He took in a deep breath as he looked her up and down. She looked different, in his opinion. She must be from a time similar to Lyle Dylandy or Anew Returner, he decided. And what was that she was going on about? His DNA being stolen? Regeneration of his cells? Foolishness. As if he would make a mistake and let something like that happen. It was bad enough that he had to share a complete genome with Regene Regetta. He chose to ignore this.

"You, Setsuna F. Seiei, Allelujah Haptism, Feldt Grace, Anew Returner, Lyle Dylandy..." he paused for a moment, counting the number of people from their world that she would recognize. "Neil and myself are present in Somarium." He felt that it was not necessary to mention the others that were present, as they were not members of Celestial Being and of no relevance at the moment.

"Somarium is a dream world," he said flatly. He left it at that and waited for a response. She was obviously not thinking correctly, possibly intoxicated, since she was talking about somebody stealing his DNA.

It took her a moment to process what he was saying. She put a hand to her forehead as if she was, indeed, nursing a hangover. Sumeragi had already seen several other names in the communication device she had found. Neil and Lyle? What on earth was he talking about? There was no logic to it. How could he have been there for ten whole months without her knowing? And the Ptolemaios was in pieces? Had anyone gotten hurt?

"Let me get this straight. You believe that people who are dead live here with you?" She smiled slightly, her shoulders lifting in a shrug that suggested his words were not making any sort of sense. Pinching the bridge of her nose, she continued. "Tieria, what is going on? A dream world? Did you really think I would believe that?" She laughed slightly. "I would expect this sort of thing from Lockon, but you?"

Still, she had seen the names in the phone. Anew, Ribbons Almark, Regene Regetta. Perhaps this was just a dream, or a nightmare would be the correct choice of wording. "Gah," she uttered, turning away from him in frustration while crossing her arms over her chest and shaking her head. When she spoke again, her tone had become grave. "This is serious. I need to know the truth." With her back still facing him, she turned her head to look at him. "When did you attach yourself to a body and were we attacked? What country is this?" She turned to him, holding up the device. "Why are there names of people who are dead in this phone?"

He shot her a very disapproving glance. The nerve of that woman to think he was not telling the truth. He had no reason to keep information about this place from her. He rarely kept any information from her, considering her security clearance was nearly as high as his. He pushed his glasses up his nose and sighed, "Sumeragi Lee Noriega, I am telling you the truth. I have no reason to lie to you."

He stared at her for several minutes, the silence awkward and almost unbearable. He tolerated Sumeragi, at best. She had deplorable behaviors, in his opinion. Her consumption of alcohol on board the Ptolemaios? Disgusting. Her emotions? Foolish. The way she threw herself at Allelujah Haptism? Absolutely uncalled for.

"You are in Somarium. I have never left my body, as I arrived in this place shortly after GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh was attacked." He frowned, "Neil is not dead, he arrived from a time after he injured his eye... I suppose when I locked him in his quarters. That device you are holding is your Dreamberry, it can function as a mobile telephone and as a device for transmitting your dreams. The people you see in there are not dead; they have simply arrived from a different point in time than you."

This is not a difficult concept to grasp.

If she had ever needed a drink, it sure as hell was right then. Transmitting Dreams? Dead people arriving at different times? A Dreamberry? What kind of name was that? Sumeragi closed her eyes for a moment, almost willing the scene before her to disappear. But, as expected, when she opened her eyes, Tieria was still standing there scowling at her as if he was speaking to a dim-witted child.

"Nadleeh? But that was at least five years ago," She mumbled, thinking out loud. Sumeragi rubbed her forehead, suddenly realizing that Tieria was being very serious. The Innovade did not joke often, and he certainly did not take many things lightly. If he had told her that an extra arm was growing out of her head, it might as well have been the truth because he was anything but a liar. And if what he said was true, then the laws of time and space were incorrect.

Sighing, she looked down at the supposed Dreamberry and decided it was best not to argue with the purple-haired man. His information was always accurate. She had never had a reason to believe otherwise. "And Veda? Lasse? Ian? There names are not in the..." She felt ridiculous saying it. "...Dreamberry."

"There is no Veda in Somarium," he said, his voice devoid of any emotion. He had already come to terms with the fact that there was no Veda in Somarium. "Lasse Aeon and Ian Vashti are not present, either. Not everybody from our world finds themselves in Somarium, Sumeragi."

Judging from her words and the time period she mentioned, he was correct in figuring that Sumeragi was from roughly the same time as Lyle Dylandy and Anew Returner. "GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh is the last Gundam model that I piloted. I have not experienced any of the events you have, though I am somewhat familiar with them through speaking with Lyle Dylandy and Setsuna F. Seiei. I was told that Celestial Being was reformed and was looking to find Veda... However, we can speak about that another time."

He stared at her for several long, awkward minutes before pushing a few strands of purple hair out of his face and taking a seat on the edge of the fountain. He crossed his arms, "Do you have any further questions that need addressing?"

She took the spot beside him at the edge of the fountain and stared blankly at the ground for a moment. Sumeragi had no choice but to believe him. After all, there wasn't anything (but logic) to disprove the things he had told her. But without her mechanic, there was no way that she could get herself off of the ground or go about trying to find a way out of the so called dream world.

"How many people live in... Somarium? Are they all from our world?" She flipped open the phone again and went through the list. She didn't recognize many of the names, but that didn't mean the people she was unfamiliar with didn't live in her own world? "Is there anything else that you think would be useful to know? Are there places to live? Is there food to eat? Are there mobile support crafts and other forms of transportation? What kind of world is this? Is there a need for Celestial Being?"

Judging by the communication device, the technology was not something that she would be in awe of. Furthermore, the list of names in the device could not possibly be the extent of the population. It was so small. Looking up at him, her last words were delivered with sincerity. "Thank you for coming to find me, Tieria."

"There are 202 total residents in Somarium and, no, they are not all from our world." He sat for a moment, irritated that Sumeragi asked him so many questions without time for him to properly formulate an answer for each of them. He wished he had his notebook with him so he could record each question and take time to develop a thorough response, but he would have to rely on the information he had stored in his mind since she was looking for immediate answers.

He turned to her, "There are apartment buildings in the city, Somni, and cottages in the village, Espoir. There are small shops that contain grocery and household items, a café, a tavern, a bar, and a restaurant. Mobile Units are not available here and the only form of transportation besides foot that I have seen includes a select number of cars and that foolish thing Suoh Tamaki referred to as a segway. And, as I have previously stated, this is a dream world."

He stopped for a moment before answering her last question. This was something that had taken him months to come to terms with. "I would not have ignored your request for assistance, Sumeragi Lee Noriega. To answer your final question, there is no need for an organization like Celestial Being at this present point in time."

A bar?

Thank goodness. She would have to find that as soon as possible. Her head was aching and it had been a long time since she felt like she needed a drink this bad. It would soothe her anxiety and hopefully allow her to think.

"Only two hundred and two?" Her shock was obvious. "Is it a growing population or has it leveled off?" A world that didn't need Celestial Being. For some reason, the thought was bittersweet. Sumeragi did not like war, but she had been around it for a long time. As much as she despised everything that war stood for, a world without it certainly wasn't her own.

"Are there landlords? Who do I speak to about acquiring a residence?"

"I believe new residents appear every week. When I arrived, there were only thirty residents. I was here without anybody from our world until Neil arrived roughly two months after my own arrival." He remembered this meeting quite well, something he will never forget. He didn't believe it at first, very skeptical at the entire situation like Sumeragi.

He sighed, "After that, members of Celestial Being, as well as others from our world, began to arrive regularly."

He paused briefly, "Concerning the living arrangements in Somarium, there are no landlords. Keys to the apartments are found inside the empty unit. Neil and I selected an apartment we thought was acceptable, cleaned it thoroughly, and began living there."

The last piece of information peaked her interest. "Ahh, so you and Neil decided to live together." The implication was subtle, but Sumeragi had to wonder whether or not one or both of them was romantically interested in the other.

"Well, the information you've given me was quite helpful, Tieria." Sumeragi wasn't sure what she would do about her living situation. On the one hand, it might be better to live alone, but on the other, she wasn't sure if she could trust her old habits when she spent a lot of time by herself.

Tieria turned to Sumeragi, frowning slightly, "Yes, Neil and I live together," he replied, not offering any further information concerning the matter. He would answer her questions, if faced with that situation, but he was not going to willingly disclose anything regarding his relationship with Neil to Sumeragi Lee Noriega.

"Do you have any further questions? I have no matters to attend to and can answer most questions you have about Somarium, if need be."

"Mmn," she shook her head 'no', suddenly looking very tired. "Not at the moment. But, if you don't mind, will you accompany me on a walk around the areas you are familiar with?"

"I suppose I can accompany you," he sighed, not saying anything more than necessary. He wasn't much on small talk, especially with somebody like Sumeragi Lee Noriega, a person whom he was sure he shared no common interests. The silence was deafening as they walked together along the streets of Espoir, leaving their original location at the fountain.
