When Feldt found the message in her inbox, she had first been shocked, and then smiled as she pocketed her Dreamberry and darted out the door to the fountain in Espoir. Once she was closer, she slowed down and stopped near the captain, looking just as she remembered her. Feldt couldn't help but smile a little.

"It's good to see you again, Sumeragi."

The sound of her voice immediately helped to soothe Sumeragi's anxiousness, and her gaze shifted to the pink-haired girl smiling at her from several feet away. "Feldt." She took a couple of steps toward her, her lips forming a relieved smile. "So it really was your name in this communication device," she noted, looking down at the archaic item that had been lying next to her when she woke up.

Her eyes settled on the younger girl again. "Do you know where the others are?" she asked urgently. "What about the Ptolemaios?"

"The others are scattered around the city that surrounds this village," she said, automatically. "The Ptolemaios is not here but there's quite a few of us from Celestial Being, including Soma Peries, Anew, and...."

Her voice faltered for a moment as she studied her feet, debating whether or not to tell her about two others who were here. She'd find out eventually, but maybe it was better to lessen the shock a little. When she spoke, she looked back at Sumeragi with a very solemn expression on her face, but her tone was quieter.

"Sumeragi... Lockon and Chris are here too."

She had seen Anew's name in the phone after sending the message. Along with Ribbons Almark and Regene Regetta. "Lockon? Yes, I sent him the same message as you. Along with Setsuna and Tieria," she told the girl, tilting her head slightly as she tried to read her expression. "Chris?" Sumeragi's confidence faltered for a moment as she continued to stare at her. Did she mean Christina? Christina Sierra? The same Christina that they heard die with their own ears ( ... )

"I meant that both Lockons are here," she replied, finally. "And I also meant what I said. The Ptolemaios is not here. This place is no where near our home. Our world. It's a strange place called Somarium."

She paused to let that information sink in.

"Most people arrive to this place in their sleep, or after they die," she continued. "However, most of us are from different times. I don't know how that's possible, but it seems the laws of time and space that we're familiar with are bent or broken here."

Sumeragi stared at the girl as if she had just hit or head and was talking nonsense. That was utterly impossible. Just because no one had found the Ptolemaios didn't mean it wasn't somewhere there. Maybe they hadn't looked hard enough. Or perhaps her crew had grown comfortable in this quaint, little village. Her eyes grew concerned as she continued to look at her. "Feldt," Sumeragi took the girl's hand, "come and sit with me." She led her to the fountain and sat down on the stone surrounding it, trying to gather her thoughts.

She blinked and allowed herself to be towed over to the fountain. Feldt took a seat next to her and watched in silence as she waited for Sumeragi to say something.

She released a small sigh and forced a smile on her lips as she turned toward Feldt. "Your explanation just now..." Her eyes slid away from her. "It didn't make sense. I would really like to know how we ended up on this continent. Were we attacked? Who was it?" Hazel eyes fell on the girl again, her expression firm. "Feldt, please, I need you to tell me what is really going on."

"Nothing much makes sense about this place," she said. "I can't explain it any better than this, because this is what I was told when I first arrived: This place is a dream world that people enter while they are sleeping or dead. I don't blame you if you don't believe me."

Feldt paused for a moment, before something came to her.

"Sumeragi, what is the last thing you remember before arriving here?"

"We were at Lagrange 5 for resupply. Right after we left Allelujah and Soma Peries on Earth." She mumbled the words, but she was still going over the things that Feldt had told her. How could any of it be true? A dream world? That was utter nonsense, and even she had admitted that it didn't make any sense. But the girl was bright. She had performed numerous roles as a member of Celestial Being. Sumeragi shook her head, confusion surfacing in her eyes. "You're not joking, are you?"

She looked surprised at the information that Allelujah and Soma had left the Ptolemaios. No matter how much she wracked her brain, she could not recall anything like that happening voluntarily. Perhaps Sumeragi was from even further in the future than her and the others from her time.

"Why would I joke about anything like this, ever?"

Frankly, it confused her as to why Sumeragi thought she would joke about anything.

"I didn't think you would joke about something like that, but given the information you provided me with, I'm sure you understand why I had to ask." Sighing, she leaned her head back a little, tilting it so that she could look up at the sky. If there was any doubt in her mind that Feldt have given her misinformation, it vanished completely. Her eyes widened and she stood up quickly, one hand moving above her eyes to shield them from the glare of the sun.

"That... castle." She looked down at Feldt in disbelief. "Without GN particles or anything else that I can see. H-How is it floating?"

Feldt nodded. For a while, she remained sitting in silence until Sumeragi asked her about the castle in the sky.

"I'm not sure," she admitted, now studying the castle. "I failed to ask about it and its means of levitation. I'll have to do some more research on this place."

Sumeragi continued to look up at it, curiously. "Is there a way to get there? A support craft? Something equivalent to an orbital elevator?" Her gaze drifted to Feldt. "Do you know who lives there?"

It was starting to set in that this wasn't a dream, after all. Well, not in the conventional sense. Even if she was in something that was considered to be a dream world, she couldn't pinch herself in order to wake up. And from the way things were looking, there probably wasn't a way to exit the world in order to return to her own.

She shook her head, avoiding Sumeragi's eyes and feeling ashamed of herself for not investigating this matter more. It made her... she didn't feel mad, but it was as if she had lost her focus in having arrived here.

"Unfortunately, I do not know," she said finally, speaking more to her feet now.

Sumeragi noticed the guilt-ridden expression and smiled encouragingly. She didn't want to continue bringing up things that would make the girl self-conscious or uncomfortable, so she tweaked her approach slightly. "Then... will you help me investigate this world and record the findings?"
