When Abel arrived at Fei’s location, the former movie star could help but smirk faintly. The Frenchman was still a lumbering ox of a man, obviously dwarfing his idol’s height by more than a few inches. As intimidating as the blonde seemed, the enthusiasm and unbridled joy expressed openly on his face reminded Fei of a small child. He knew from personal experience that Abel was much more complex than he appeared. The Frenchman wasn’t the only one looking forward to a rematch.

“Ah, a friendly face. It’s good to see you again, Abel... despite the strange circumstances,” Fei greeted the larger male, extending a hand towards the beaming ex-mercenary. “Did you manage to find more clues to your past and Shadaloo?” the diminutive martial artist asked, recalling the words they had exchanged after their last match.

Fei smiled and firmly returned the hand shake. He was glad to know that the Frenchman’s journey had not ended in failure. He recalled Bison’s inhuman strength and diabolical thirst of power... just the memory alone brought chills to his spine. Truly, such a man was beyond redemption.

“I managed to trace the attacks back to their source, though it was a difficult and rather tedious process. But, I witnessed Seth die myself. Before I could find any more answers or fight him, he was stabbed in the back. I didn’t get a chance to see who attacked him...” Fei explained, folding his arms across his compact chest. It made no sense at all for them to have both encountered Seth and witnessed him die.

“He didn’t exactly reveal very much in terms of motive...” Fei also mentioned, finding the events to be very strange, indeed.

Fei stared at Abel in disbelief. Abel being related to Seth? After thinking back to his encounter, even Fei Long had to admit that their facial features were quite similar... Still, the Frenchman obviously was not some pawn of Bison’s nor shared his interests.
“I never thought that Bison’s villainy would extend that far. To toy with human genetics so thoughtlessly... but why would he do such a thing?”

"Afterwards, he seemed to be perfectly fine with pontificating at length... I suppose I'm just lucky, that way," Fei mentioned, managing to at least find some humor in the otherwise grim situation. If there were multiple copies of Seth, then no doubt the conversation he held with the recently executed clone was a stalling tactic set into motion.

He couldn't begin to imagine how confused and upset Abel might feel at that moment, but he remained determined to pursue the truth. No matter how damaging or painful it might be.
Fei Long wasn’t going to get in his way, if that were the case.
“Whatever answers you may find, just realize that you are not like Seth. Nor Bison, for that matter,” he stated simply enough.

Fei Long remained silent, unsure of what to say. He wasn't sure of what was going on with Seth's clones, nor Bison's plotting, but from his interaction with Abel, he didn't feel he was the same.

It was a path that the Frenchman would have to travel alone to find his own answers.

"Staying? I hadn't thought that far ahead. I'm still gathering what information I can about this place. But, if you know of somewhere I can rest, that would be helfpful."

Well, that certainly sounded fortunate. He didn't want to be troublesome, but if Abel was offering, he wouldn't insult him by turning him down.

"Oh? If it's not any trouble. Thank you," Fei replied, smiling briefly.

Fei blinked for a moment, not understanding why the Frenchman was taking his acceptance so seriously. He was technically a celebrity, but it wasn't like he'd refuse a place to stay. Especially since he had no point of reference as to which area was the safest. It was wisest to stay in a group or with someone else, in case of danger.

"If it's alright with you, I'd have no reason to refuse," he stated simply, though he was curious to see what available lodgings there were in Somarium. Espoir looked quite lovely, aside from the disturbing lack of people.

"Well, it's the polite thing to do. Unless there's some reason why I should refuse?" he asked in jest, randomly beginning to do a few muscle stretches. He wasn't exactly one for just standing around. His feet were already beginning to feel restless.

"A dojo, eh? Maybe I'll take a look later on. Should I take a look around the surrounding area by your residence or... would you rather have that friendly match right now?" Fei asked with a wide smirk, getting into stance. It had been awhile since he'd fought a worthy opponent. After all of the strange happenings surrounding his arrival to this place, it could just be the pick up he needed.
