Unfortunately, the customer that came in wasn't a smoking hot woman, but a red hot-tempered redhead... in an unexpected new outfit. He looked around in slight amusement, before going up to Raven at the bar.

"Well, I can't say I'm entirely surprised by this," Asch said, smiling in amusement.

Raven raised a brow as he watched Asch come in.

"Oh really?" Raven grinned as he leaned forward. "Well I can say I'm surprised by your new look. Any reason?"

As much as Asch tried, he couldn't keep the blush from his face.

"I... have plans later," he admitted.

And did Raven ever notice it, his grin widening as he leaned closer to him.

"Plans ya say?" he teased. "Now, would these plans involve a certain young lady going out somewhere?"

Asch coughed, embarrassed, but he couldn't help the silly grin this time.

"Um... w-we're just going to have some tea... and... well... I got her a plushie too..." he murmured.

Raven couldn't help but chuckle. Asch was just way too easy to read.

"A gift already? Don't rush things now," he said. "And y'all are welcome to stop by later if ya need something else."

Raven paused for a moment, as if in thought. "Well, your lady friend at least. I'd have to think about serving you anything," he grinned.

"H-hey now," Asch protested, "you act like I've never had anything to drink before."

He let out a sigh, rubbing his forehead. "Maybe... I am going a little crazy, but I needed to go somewhere to calm down first, before I do something like this," he said after a moment, leaving out the whole part where he never dated before, and wouldn't know how to react to a date. Right now, this was just him being social. "Besides, after the past few days, I'm lucky I have any sanity left. You missed out on a lot, old man."

"Rules are rules, Asch. Can't let youngun's get their heads too high," Raven winked.

"Is that so?" he just said as he let Asch talk. He'd get everything he'd want to know eventually. Kid looked stressed enough as it is. "Seemed like I did whenever I checked the Dreamberry."

Asch rolled his eyes, almost regretting telling Raven he was seventeen. He knew he looked older, and besides, the bartenders back home weren't stupid enough to deny a drink to someone with a name like "Asch the Bloody" anyway.

He let out a sigh after a moment; he found he never really minded talking to Raven. The older man was a great person to vent to, after all.

"Well, at first, Zelos dragged me to this new clinic in the slums, because he wanted to hit on the residing doctor," he began, realizing this was going to be a loooooong story. "Only this woman could literally fall to pieces. I, um... well, I freaked out and ran the hell out of there."

Unfortunately, Asch was dealing with Raven. He would have denied the kid no matter what title. Unless it was warranted of course. Okay, maybe Raven would have relented. Maybe. But for the moment, Asch wasn't going to get much at first.

"Fall to pieces?" Raven repeated, an eyebrow raised. "And she's a doctor at some clinic. I have ta say, Zelos has a lot of guts to go after someone like that," he chuckled. "Even I would have thought twice." Maybe. If the chick had a nice body weeeeell. It might have negated the whole "Body falling apart" deal. Might.

"But you?" Raven chuckled. "Shouldn't ya be used to seein' body parts like that?" he teased.

"Well, of course," Asch replied, waving a hand, "but not falling off while the person was still moving around, talking about it like it was nothing."

"Weeeell, I'll admit that could be kind of creepy...but to run away screaming like a girl? I thought you were a God General."

Nope, Raven was not going to let him off easy.

"I panicked!" Asch admitted, a bit red in the face. "I mean, not even monsters do things like that in my world. It was freaky."

He let out a sigh, resting his head in his hand. "So, after, that, I got lost; lost Zelos, lost myself. Some guy named Kamina pulled up then in some fon machine, and... well, allowing him to drive me around was my first mistake."

Raven just laughed. It was just the image of tough guy Asch running off like that that was amusing.

"S-So...that was what that call was about, right?" Raven said between chuckles.

Asch let out an indignant noise, looking like he was about ready to roast Raven, though he held back.

"Yeah. He started driving around like a lunatic," Asch continued. "I ended up tumbling around a lot, and I guess I hit the Dreamberry on in the process. We ended up picking up Lelouch, some guy name Klavier, and Zelos and driving all over the place in the slums before we finally managed to get away from the lunatic. I almost lost my lunch; Zelos had to practically drag me to my apartment."

"Well it does sound like ya had a crazy day," Raven said finally calming down a bit. "Also sounds like ya met quite a few people."

He grinned. "It's a sign ya need ta get out more and experience new things! What was this machine like, anyhow?"
