[Cloud] [#1]

Cloud took enough time with the Dreamberry - is that what it was called? - to work out how to lock the keypad, and then turned the device over in his gloved fingers. It was pewter-silver in colour, dully reflective, with his very own recognisable cloudy wolf design etched into the back delicately. He soon grew bored with it, however, and slipped it back into his pocket in favour of examining his surroundings at a closer level.
He paced the building he'd woken up in twice; once clockwise, then anti-clockwise. Behind it was a field that stretched into a distant wooded area, with the ever-looming skyscrapers rising above the trees on the horizon. To either side and in front of the house there seemed to be only more abandoned buildings, doors shut, windows (mostly) shuttered, all quiet.
It wouldn't do to stray, and so he stood, arms folded across his chest as he leaned against the rough brick wall next to the door, scanning the road for anything - or anyone.
