Waka had been nearby the village, seeing that there was no need for any business in the city he left to get some fresh air. He was contently watching the world from a high branch in a leafy tree, and was enjoying his first free day in well over a century. It wasn't long before he heard -rather than saw- the Goddess making her way along the path. He turned, expecting to see the familiar wolf making her way below him, but instead he saw a white-haired woman awkwardly walk by. It took him a minute to realize that it was Amaterasu.

How long had it been since he had saw her that way? Not since back in Takamagahra, which was a good two centuries ago. It seemed her power was returning to her. He smiled at the thought, but Waka wasn't one to miss an opportunity to surprise the Goddess with a good entrance. It had been too long since he had used Pillowtalk!

"Hark, ma cherie!" He stands up on the branches, flipping his hat back and pulling out Pillowtalk. "It has been quite some time since I've seen you in such a form, baby~." There is a very strong possibility that he is sparkling right now.

Amaterasu's sensitive ears flicked back and forth, turning once and stumbling; falling rather undignifiedly on the ground, tail between both legs. "A-Ah!" She yelped, looking up with round eyes.

Blinking up at him, her expression brightened, her mouth pulling into a fanged smile. "Waka! " She cheered, waving as she blinked at him. "...My, what's with the sparkles. It's only me, Waka. Is that truly necessary?' She was snickering a little.

He allows himself a small chuckle. Cherie was still unused to it all, especially being confined to a statue for a century. Hopefully, she would have more time to develop her strength in Somarium.

He floats down, a little disappointed because he thought the sparkles were absolutely necessary. "An entrance should always be grand, baby~!" He ignores her snickering and walks out to her, slowly holding out a hand.

"Do you need help, cherie? Two legs are quite troublesome, I'm afraid."

Amaterasu pouted at him, but took his hand, sighing teasingly. "I see. Perhaps those of the Moon Tribe are the only ones with big egos. Then what of Gods and are grand entries? Perhaps we should switch places. " She snickered lightly, before smiling sheepishly. "Yes..it's rather hard. " She said softly, frowning a little.

Waka laughs as he pulls her to his feet. "I think I'm quite humble, baby! You know, I only do those entrance for you~ &hearts" He teases just as well back. It was like another of their sparing matches, this time without any serious threat for poor Waka to be bludgeoned with a Glaive.

"Perhaps, we should get some practice, qui? The village is big enough for one to roam around in for a while."

She rolled her eyes. "I hardly consider that so, Waka." But her smile was genuine. She stumbled into his grip, blushing a little bit at the embarassment of it all. "I suppose so. I think it would certainly help." She laughed a little bit.

Waka is so amused, you don't even know Ammy. But he holds her up, and begins to walk down the path.

"Would baby like to see the fields? It could use a divine touch~" He begins to lead her pass the cottages to the green fields to the end of the path. The trees are slightly tinged with flowers beginning to bloom in the spring air. It is peaceful and calm, and it is the first time he has not searched for demons to exorcise.

"How are you adjusting to Somarium, cherie? It is very different from Nippon."

Amaterasu scowls lightly, feeling very embarassed at this whole situation. She pinkens considerably and frowns; but that is shortlived, because a smile is tugging on her lips at the sight of the cherry blossoms. Her expression softens as her eyes crinkle with warmth.

"Life is happening everywhere even now." She says lightly, her expression wistful as she closes her eyes. She blinks, head lifting at his sudden question, her face grave. "It certainly is. Nippon is getting darker by the moment, last time I checked. I..I was worried that you were dead, Waka. Last time I saw you well, it was on the Ark of Yamato." Her anxious dark eyes lifted to stare into his, biting her lip.

"Ah, I see. I remember that as well, baby." He looked back at her, blue eyes unwavering.

He couldn't say that he was surprised by what she said. He had been planning for centuries to end everything right at the beginning, at the Ark. If his duty as her guide was to end there, then it ended. As long as the right destiny came to fruition, he was pleased. But Waka wasn't foolish enough not to hope that he had survived. Though, the likely hood of coming out of that abyss unscathed seem very little. If the attack itself didn't finish him, whatever was waiting below would surely try their hand at it.

"Do not worry, Amaterasu. This prophet has nearly died many times before, and I always got out, qui? Some would say I'm quite resilient! Or stubborn may be a better word for it." He smiled and looked ahead, eyes thoughtful.

"You know a prophet must always adhere to Fate. I've seen many resolved people (your little bouncing friend a surprising example, baby~!) see through their destiny to the end. I am resolved as well, as you, too, no doubt are, Amaterasu. We wouldn't have been able to board the Ark if we weren't."

"As for Nippon, I'm sure it is well as it can be. Perhaps, one day, it can be as filled with life such as this world. Maybe more so~"

Amaterasu frowned, looking away, ears flat against her head. "I suppose you are right. Still, I wish you wouldn't endanger yourself so much. You should just leave things to me, " She said gently, glancing away as she smiled.

"Still, it's been a while since we've fought together. That's something to be thankful for. " Hearing about Issun made Amaterasu immediately nostalgic. "Issun...I-I really miss him." She said miserably, ears drooping as she frowned a little. "..I-I hope he's doing alright.."

"Nippon...I feel so worried if I'm not there watching it.."

"O-ho~, don't worry, baby! I can handle myself quite well~." Well, he won't admit that he may need Amaterasu's help sometimes. He's used to working alone.

His face softens just a bit as he watches Amaterasu. "Knowing your little bouncing friend, he is probably already amusing himself with his art and the many ladies at Sei-An. But, I know that he was a good companion to you, cherie. Perhaps when his duty is done, he'll join you here." Besides, he found the Poncle's temper very amusing and there was so much time in Somarioum to really find some buttons to push. All in good fun though~!

"I worry too, baby. It is disconcerting not to know of our home. All I can say is...have faith, cherie."
