The fountain in the center of the village had quickly become the central meeting point for the Embryon tribe. Serph sat at the edge of the water, reaching back to dangle his hand into the pool; idly splashing about.
He abruptly stopped playing in the water. Something felt wrong. Something felt off -- there was something in the air; something was coming over him.
A small growl came from the back of his throat.
Hungry.
Serph looked down at his hands and concentrated on breathing slowly. He wanted to transform. He wanted to consume; rend, slaughter... Devour.
Hungry.
The brand on his cheek began to glow; tendrils of aquamarine blue rapidly creeping across his skin. His fingers twitched, eyes watching pale skin slowly darkening to a grayed brown.
Eat them all.
Silver eyes turned a hungry yellow. He snapped his head up, eyes focusing and narrowing squarely on Heat. His body visibly began to twitch, his stomach growling. He lurched up to his feet, arms dangling limply at his sides. Aqua veins of light consumed his form; a stranged roar coming from the back of his throat. Varna wanted out.
