It was a warm, relatively still day, but there was a strong wind blowing in the air out behind the library that seemed strangely confined to that small space. The leaves that were caught in it helped to trace out its path for any who wished to see it and they showed that it seemed to be circling around a young blonde girl in a school uniform, spiraling tightly around her outstretched arm and then more loosely about her body before weaving out with less intensity to the surrounding area.
Fuu had gone around to the back of the building she lived in to practice, not having had a chance to work her magic since arriving in Somarium. Fuu had reasoned that she was not as likely to disturb anyone behind the library as out in the streets, and it would be good to keep her skills from deteriorating with lack of use.
Fuu raised her arm higher, reaching above her head and narrowing her eyes in concentration. The wind increased in force, whipping her hair about her face and cascading down and up again as if her extended hand was the center of a magnetic field, blowing her skirt and tugging on her jacket.
