A man in a long black coat stands rigidly in an open area. A mask covers his face, phantasmal and macabre in appearance the feathers which make up the headdress flutter and move silently with the soft breeze. The mask is crafted in such a way that only one eye is exposed, azure it is in color, the other covered by a black slip. He does not speak, there is no sound being issued from his mouth an eerie almost deafening silence surrounding him. He simply stands there a dark and debilitating aura about him. The Dreamberry is gripped tightly in one black gloved hand yet he has not once looked at for information about this place. He doesn’t trust himself to open his mouth…not now. Not when he was so close…so close to capturing her and possibly saving Hamona.
It had all gone wrong, wrong just like before…when she was struck down by the damned Paradise which everyone sought like vicious, feral, wolves. The Dreamberry clattered to the cold ground; he never once looking at the ground to see if it was undamaged. His limp hands quickly balled into two tightly clenched fists and then in one swift motion, with a loud yell of anguish and frustration ripping through his throat; he slammed his left fist into the side of an adjacent stone building. The blood didn’t register as it cascaded to the dirt floor beneath his feet the pain was nonexistent even if he might have broken something. It did not matter. Nothing here mattered. This place wasn’t paradise; it would not help him rescue his love. It was just another obstacle in his way another nuisance which kept him from hearing her voice again, to seeing her rose colored eyes sparkle and glimmer with life, and seeing her move fluidly like a swift beautiful current.
It was just another way to toy with him; he would not…give in. He would not allow this place to win.
