Things had not gone quite as well as the Overlord had wanted it to. She had watched everyone's adventures through the Haunted Mansion, only to find that some had suffered more trauma than she had ever intended

Raven woke up, still in costume, and on a bale of hay. Blinking, he slowly sat up, glad to no longer be in that stupid mansion.
...Still, he wondered about what happened. Why it happened. Why would their lady ghost make them suffer through all that when all these other times it seemed like she wanted them to have fun? It just didn't add up.
So he sat there, brooding a bit. And trying to forget the experience he had. But he knew that when he finally did dream, it wasn't going to be a pretty one.
A groan came from somewhere by him on the hay bale, and it probably wasn't much of a surprise when a head of red flopped up, the hay still clinging to Asch's long hair. The young man blinked around blearily... before letting out a groan and flopping back into the hay.
"...thank the Score," he muttered after a moment, a gloved hand reaching up to rub his eyes... before he paused, and Raven could almost picture the grimace as the grumpy redhead realized he was still in Zelos' clothing. "Well. Sort of."
Whoo hoo! XDlikesmelonsNovember 3 2008, 18:53:40 UTC
Zelos was also on the hay bale, albeit on a far side from the rest of the group. He had woken up a little while ago, but was keeping to himself for once. He stayed laying down on the hay bale, his mind drifting off to the strange horrors they had experienced. At the moment, he didn't even care that he was still in Luke's clothing, or how the hay was itching his face.
All those strange things... It really wasn't too different from the horrors he had faced with Lloyd in Mithos' castle. (Minus the naked women and the utterly strange plant life.) Still, the hollow feeling from all the frights at once was what was hitting him the hardest - and it didn't help to have flashbacks to the fake Seles telling he was worthless. Or his mother, for that matter.
He sighed loudly, making up his mind and finally sitting up, yawning and stretching. "Aaaaah! That was a good nap~!" he said, all the worry from before etched off his face. "We should do that again, hmm? Quite the adventure!"
Asch jumped back to a seated position at the new voice, scrambling through the hay to locate the owner... and having to fight back a laugh when he did. He noticed the bruise and the new rip in his abused tabard, but he also noted with a bit of pride how completely and utterly ridiculous his replica looked in his uniform. If only he could take a picture; he'd never let Luke live it down.
"Luke, you all right?" he finally asked. He was hovering over him (upside down, from Luke's perspective), otherwise, he would have helped him sit up.
Raven looked at the psuedo-triplet with one eye half closed, his usual laidback persona mask on.
"Well, now, looks like the third brother has finally decided to join us," he said with a light chuckle. "Looks like you had a helluva time in that place, too."
He glanced at the other two. "You boys all right?" he asked as he leaned back into the straw. He had to admit, it felt good to just sit there like this and just not move.
Geeze, I thought I was bad. XDlikesmelonsNovember 4 2008, 00:16:54 UTC
Zelos stretched again, feeling out for any left over aches and pains from the fights. It seemed like most of them had ebbed away, leaving only dull aches or small twinges here and there.
"I'm good, old man," he answered, laying back into the hay. It was quite comfortable for him, too. He snerked when he saw Luke's "outfit" though, wholeheartedly agreeing with Asch on how ridiculous he looked. "Good look for you, Luke," he teased, giving him a playful thumbs up.
Asch sat up straight, allowing Luke to look around without his (still curly) hair in his face. He turned to Raven as he flopped back onto the hay, sparing the old man a soft smile.
"Somehow," he replied, checking for any cuts and bruises, before tugging in irritation at Zelos' clothes. He was about to comment again on the idiot Chosen's poor taste... when the button of the coat slipped out. There was a moment where he stared at the button, blinking at it as if it were some kind of mutant interpretation of a button, before scrambling up to the top of the haystack, looking around.
"PLEASE tell me there's a place to change around here?"

"Sounds like a plan to me!" he agreed, dragging Asch off the hay. "Come on, you. I want my clothes back."

"And what am I supposed to wear if he can't get up?" he protested, trying to shake the other redhead off.

...Too bad they were guys, though.
"Have fun! Don't do anything you'd regret, now," Raven teased before laughing at the redhead trio.
