It feels too familiar. Too dangerous. Too much like an Akatsuki member Kakashi had once fought -- but what the fuck is he doing here?

He puts the book down that he'd been reading and heads in the general direction of it -- spotting the black cloak and red clouds before he realizes what he's looking at --

Hidan's body. And -- his head?*

[As if Hidan would notice Kakashi. He's too preoccupied mentally cursing out people he hates to care at the moment. Well, not so much mentally as he is just plain blurting it out like some sort of faucet.]

Where the fuck is he?! Taking his sweet time, as always! I'll fuckin' bite him if he doesn't show up soon!

[Yeah, some sort of monologue, or something.]

*Sorry, Hidan, Kakashi is definitely not Kakuzu. He narrows his eye slightly and walks into the Akatsuki member's line of vision and just stares down at him for a moment.

The last time he saw him, Hidan was swinging a rather dangerous weapon at him. Kakashi thinks he likes Hidan better like this -- decapitated. Even if he's still obnoxiously loud.*

[Oh, hello feet. The head is kind of trying to tilt back a bit, looking up at Kakashi's face to get a better look at who's blocking out all the light. And Hidan damn well recognizes that poofy hair and the mask.]

You! Where the hell did you put me?!

*A slight scoff. Kakashi doesn't feel that Hidan deserves a proper response.*

You're not supposed to be here. *And with that said, Kakashi disappears out of the line of sight -- he's actually moving over to Hidan's body as he takes out a scroll from his vest.*

[He'll be rolling over to face Kakashi again; he's getting good at rolling as a head, isn't he? But anyway, he's noticing what Kakashi is doing, and he doesn't like the looks of it. As if it wasn't obviously by the snarling that he's making.]

What the fuck are you doing?!

*He pointedly ignores the rolling head in favor of unrolling the scroll, biting down on his thumb to smear a streak of blood across the surface. And then his fingers fly through a number of seals, before hot white chakra suddenly pulses in his hand -- and then he stabs the chakra straight down on Hidan's chest.

For a moment nothing happens.

But then the body suddenly glows and with a poof of smoke disappears.*

[And this is where Hidan's head rages. Rages like the Hulk on a rampage.]

You dirty SON OF A BITCH! [Cue Hidan bouncing and trying to clamp his teeth onto Kakashi's ass.]

*Trying is the operative word here. Kakashi pointedly moves away enough so Hidan'll have to try a lot harder if he wants to get a bite in. He rolls up the scroll that he'd sealed Hidan's body into and slips it back into one of the pockets on his vest as he rises up again, staring down at the cursing head.*

Well, I think we can get along now just fine. *And then he smiles.*

[His face in down in the dirt, and he's making some muffled noises that kind of sound like a bunch of swears, but it'd be hard to tell until he rolls over to face Kakashi from waaaay down here. And damn, did he look pissed.]

Once Kakuzu gets here, we're gonna murder you and use your fucking body as firewood!

*knows a-swearin' when he hears it, especially this one! and he manages to sneak onto the scene right as kakashi is slipping away the scroll*

*kisame knew itachi said no fighting, but he couldn't help but at least provoke one and swung Samehada at the copy ninja, where it landed like a meteor at his feet*

What exactly is going on here?

*He sensed the chakra a little too late, but leaps away from the Samehada before it comes close from his feet -- landing a few feet away. And then he narrows his eye at Kisame, wondering where Itachi is since they usually come in a pair. It's probably better if he retreats -- fast. And contact the Yondaime and Itachi about this.

Without another word, he takes off into the trees, moving as quickly as he can, hoping that the added distraction of Hidan's head rolling around on the floor will split Kisame's attention just enough for him to get away.*

[Hidan's head is sort of flailing, or something similar to it, when Kisame kind of does that. It's kind of getting more dirt in his face, if anything, and it's not helping his anger or the situation. Well, it's kind of helping the situation, in a way, but Hidan doesn't need logic at a time like this!

But yeah, he's choking on dirt.]

*kisame has the strongest urge in the world to go after kakashi, but he stares at writhing head on the ground in morbid fascination, still wondering how the hell he can still be ali--*

*oh right, kakashi. he took something from hidan, and he wasn't sure what*

Tch, he's gone, that bastard.

[Now that he's done spitting out, or swallowing, dirt, Hidan is going to speak up again; or more like start screaming at the top of... his lungs, or something. Figure of speech, of course. Since his lungs are all... yeah, nevermind.]

That fucker ran off with my body!
