[A tall, purple haired demon is lounging on the rim of the fountain in Espoir's main square. His pose is languid and natural looking - one would never suspect it's taken him several hours to get it into a state that he's happy with. He seems to be

[Rena didn’t want to be rude, but it was kind of hard for her not to stare at the tall man standing by the fountain. The only time she’d ever seen anyone with pointy ears like that was in Keiichi’s manga. Part of her really wanted to go over there and poke them, but that would be impolite of her]

Clearly the young lady was entranced, and Vyers couldn't blame her in the slightest. In her shoes, he'd be doing much the same. As pleasing as the attention was, he was a gentleman, and couldn't in good conscience leave the poor girl there to pine over him. He rose, and a few elegant strides covered the ground between them quickly.

"Good day, mademoiselle," the words accompanied by a sweeping bow. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Vyers, the Dark Adonis...it's a pleasure to make the acquaintance of such a lovely young lady."

Such charm! Surely the young lady would be most impressed.

And that she was. A very noticeable blush appeared on her checks as she took in his performance. His presence was that of another world and it was almost hard to believe that he really existed.

"O-oh, w-why thank you. It's nice to meet you, my name's Rena."

"Rena...a beautiful name indeed." Vyers smiled at the young lady in front of him, amused at the shade of her cheeks. "Might I enquire of you as to where exactly we are?"

"A-ah, this is Somarium. It's a dream world where people get randomly transported too. Or at least thats what I've been told."

"A dream world?" Vyers raised an elegant eyebrow in surprise. That was not at all what he had been expecting, but it did make sense. The last thing he had done before waking here was to take a short beauty sleep, after all. Well! If he was going to wake eventually, he might as well enjoy his time here. And that nagging feeling in his stomach was not pleasant in the slightest.

"Truly fascinating! Tell me, my dear - would you do me the honour of showing me where I might acquire a meal in this place? And I must insist that you join me."

Rena’s eyes raised in surprise. She had never met anyone as forward as him before and was a little shocked by it. Flattered, of course, but still surprised. But he did seem like a very nice person and had given her no reason not to do him the favor.

“O-oh, yes of course! I’d be more than glad to. There’s a place called Café de Rêves that we could go to get some food.”

"Excellent! Please, lead on." This dream world seemed tolerable so far, at least. He had managed to get some quite charming company, and it would appear a good meal would soon follow. As expected of the Dark Adonis, Vyers had managed to fall on his feet.

Still, he couldn't help but wonder how exactly he had found himself here. The machinations of some rival demon? Perhaps his new companion could help shed some light on the situation.

"Tell me, mademoiselle - do you know how it was that we came to be in this place?"

She shook her head. “Nobody that I asked knew either. Some people say the world itself brought us here but that’s just a guess.
Hau, this place confuses Rena.”

How very strange...a world that drew people to it in their dreams. Vyers had to confess, the idea had a certain romantic charm that was quite appealing. He did have to agree with the young lady though.

"I must join you in feeling confused. Still, it is a mark of a true nobleman to adapt to any circumstance." A sudden thought struck him. "Are the other people you have met all humans like yourself?

Rena stopped to think for a second. Of all of the people she had met, Vyers had been the only one to stick out to her off the bat as “not human”. Though one could never be too sure about these things from just first glances.

“The ones that Rena has met so far. There are still a lot of others here that I haven’t seen yet.”

The demon chuckled softly to himself - truly, the girl's habit of refering to herself in the third person was quite charming. A world of mostly humans, then...Vyers wasn't at all sure what to make of this. Still, he had no doubt he would work this situation out with speed. It would appear that Rena was only slightly more knowledgeable than himself at this point, but her help was certainly a boon to him.

"Interesting indeed. I must offer my thanks for your tolerance of my questioning, mademoiselle - you are most kind to take the time to guide me."

“Oh no, it was no trouble at all. I was glad to be of help.” Rena said cheerfully smiling.

His question did make her wonder though. "Are there not a lot of humans from where you're from I wonder, I wonder?"
