[Trucy stands at the apartment door with a bunch of things around her: hula hoops, a large horizontal box with slits on the sides, swords and another box on wheels that stretches out vertically. And in her hands a costume bag presumably for Phoenix.]

Daddy! You have really good timing. It took me forever to try and drag these out of the apartment. And guess what! I found your costume!

[slammingtables]

*holds the bag out a little to examine it*

O-Oh, how nice. Is it all right if I open it?

[Nods and smiles proudly]

You'd better put it on now because I'm not sure where you're going to change into it when we get to Espoir. I think you'll like it. It brings out the colour in your eyes, Daddy.

[slammingtables]

*sifts through the bag, only to take out a pair of white shirt cuffs, a shirt collar with a bow-tie attached to it, and a pair of black pants*

Er... this is it? Where's the rest of it, Tru?

[magictrucygirl]

That's it!

I found it in one of the old costume shops. I would have taken other stuff back, but my bag was getting heavy. It should fit though!

[smiles like there is absolutely no problem in the costume]

[slammingtables]

*eyes the pieces of "clothes" in his hands and goes to the bathroom to put it on*

I'll be changing, then........

Okay, Daddy! Don't take too long, okay?

[slammingtables]

*some rustling can be heard in the bathroom, but only for a moment until you hear loud /thok!/ from inside*

...oh, my goodness.

*the door opens and phoenix dressed in*

W-What the HECK is this, Trucy?! I... I feel so... um. WRONG!

[magictrucygirl]

[giggles] It looks good, Daddy!

I mean, you do have a bit of flab, but that's easily fixed, right?

[slammingtables]

(F-Flab...?! OK, I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that. But maybe I should start exercising more?)

Well, that's not the problem anyway! It's just... this is a strange outfit for a magician's assistant, don't you think? I mean... I-I have no shirt!

*lifts his legs a little higher*

And these pants are way too tight! What if I can't um... disappear very well due to restricted movement? It might ruin your magic trick, you know.

[magictrucygirl]

I guess. But you know, Daddy, you are only a temporary assistant. And it was the only costume I could find. Unless of course you want to wear one of mine, but I don't think you'll fit into it.

[tilts her head to the side in a totally innocent manner]

Tight pants don't really factor into my magic tricks, Daddy! Some guy in a dress volunteered once when I was at the Wonder Bar and it worked just fine!

[slammingtables]

A-A... guy in a dress, you say? I see... I guess this outfit can't really compare to that, can it.......?

*just scratches his head in frustration*

All right, Tru. Let's just... start your magic practice outside. Hopefully nobody I know will catch me in this ridiculous outfit.

[beams and hands off some of the props to Phoenix like the large horizontal box as pushes the vertical box with the swords clattering on top of them] Of course! You wouldn't look good in a dress, Daddy.

I haven't practiced in a while so, hopefully it all turns out well.

[slammingtables]

*laughs weakly as he carries the dangerously piled items outside*

So, you think it'll take a long time? Is that what you're saying?

[magictrucygirl]

I'm not all that sure! But you can't rush a good thing, right, Daddy?

Plus, it can't take all that long to stick some swords into you.

[slammingtables]

Gah... *nearly drops the stuff*

W-Well, just try not to make Swiss Cheese out of daddy, OK?
