Overlord | Carnival Time
Who: EVERYONE.
Where: An abandoned carnival ground somewhere that looks like in the middle of the desert
Style: First (entry is in third but respond in first)
Status: MINGLE.
She floated above the rather large carnival that had risen overnight from the desert. It had taken a few days, but she had finally managed to recreate all that she had managed to pry from the dreams and memories, both conscious and subconscious, of the current inhabitants of her world. Slowly, she drifted through the different rides and booths, noting how empty it looked. But soon she could see the souls of the long gone, those who had once lived in the cities and villages that the newcomers now replaced.
Her face expressionless, she waved a hand, and soon the shadows of those who have found themselves forever dreaming in this world could be found in various places of the park, some on rides, some on the ground, some on benches.
With another hand, the lights, music, and rides started to slowly creak and the work as they had in the long distant past.
Once everything had been suited to their needs, she rose up higher, closing her eyes as she formed the magical barrier that would keep them safe from the unknown dangers that lurked outside. She had been relieved that none except a few had witnessed some of these creatures, and they would be blind to them, thinking they were in the middle of the city of Somni rather than in a desert. But she knew something was coming, and it would only be a matter of time...
But no. Now was not the time to dwell on it. These people had proven to be wonderful people, and she wanted to give back to them for the company they had given her after all these long centuries.
"...Happy Halloween..." she said softly, a small smile just a faint trace on her lips. Her voice carried down into them, and into their ears, and then she closed her eyes and flew higher above to keep watch, to let them play and have fun.
