It was a well-known fact that Ino hated waiting. Whether she was waiting for something to arrive on her doorstep or for someone to come meet her somewhere, she couldn't stand to sit around and do nothing; she was, after all, above that kind of thing. Who would ever keep a girl like her waiting for anything?
But as she sat on the side of the fountain, twisting back slightly to look down at the water lazily swirling around, Ino found that waiting for a certain lazy genius was actually... tolerable. The sooner he arrived, well... the sooner she knew that he would probably end up asking more questions about Asuma-sensei. It was a definite possibility, but it certainly was something that the girl would try her hardest to keep from happening; it had been a big enough shock just see him walking around once more, acting like nothing had ever happened. Because it hasn't, she thought, frowning down at her reflection in a slightly confused manner. At least, he says it hasn't.
It seemed that the more she thought about it all, the better it seemed to actually question her teammate about the baffling things that were going on. She didn't want to, to be perfectly honest--she was perfectly content to continue acting like nothing was wrong while she tried to wrap her mind around everything that had happened; she was certainly good at pretending--but she also wasn't one to run away from important issues. Besides, as much as she liked to complain about him, he was her teammate; he was someone that she knew she could count on in the stupid "dream world" she had found herself trapped in.
But, more importantly, Shikamaru was also a nerd; he would know how they all seemed to have been pulled from different points in time, and he would find a way to explain everything to her. And if he didn't... well, seeing as how their conversation on the Dreamberry didn't count, it had certainly been a long time since she had given him a proper chewing out.
That was definitely going to have to change.
