Who: Asch, EVERYONE Where: Empty field in Espoir Style: Either! Be consistent! >:| Status: Waaaaaaay open; come bother the redhead (just don't abuse him; he's had enough of that :|).
The first gorgeous day of the year: the birds were annoyingly loud, the sun was obnoxiously bright, and the breeze was blowing her hair into her face and mouth. Spring was indeed unfortunately in Somarium and Haruhi had scowled at every single person she had passed on her search for Asch. The red head had popped out of bed cheerful and had proceeded to exude said cheer as he prepared for the day and left.
Left! Without so much as a, "Do you want anything while I'm out?"!
Spring, in Haruhi's opinion, was the most redundant season of the year. So what that the snow was melting, the animals were coming back, and people were cleaning and procreating like they'd never done so in their life? What did it matter? All of that was mundane and boring!
Summer, now that was an exciting season! Beaches and bikinis, island hide-outs and murders, and a chance to create your own schedule without abiding by school rules! (Those were the things an exciting season were made of!)
But it wasn't summer yet. No, it was spring and Haruhi's hay fever was acting up (where the hell could she find medication for this!? Or maybe someone might have a spell...). It was bad enough that she'd just gotten over a hangover but to go outside for the first time since and have this mess pounce on her!?
With her nose a bright cherry red from sneezing, she enters the clearing Asch is in. Upon seeing him in his current state of undress, her cheeks decide to try and match shades with her nose. (At least her face is a consistent shade now!)
"You could have mentioned you were coming all the way out here! I might've stayed home." Because fields have flowers and flowers have pollen and... "A-chooooo!"
Asch paused mid swing at the sudden unhappy grumbling followed by the loud sneeze, turning and raising an eyebrow at Haruhi. Poor girl looked absolutely miserable; he almost felt bad. He sheathed his sword, heading over to her.
"You okay?" he asked, reaching out to feel her forehead. "...you're a bit warm... don't tell me you're getting sick."
She swats the offending appendage away from herself, her face heating up further. What's wrong with him!? Doesn't he know anything about personal space?! (Though, somewhere, far, far away, she vaguely wonders what's wrong with her. It's a little strange to criticize someone else for "personal space" and why is she so offended by it anyway?)
"It's just hay fever!" she says, backing away. She feels uncomfortable. Really uncomfortable. (And she hates it! Agh!) "And why aren't you wearing a shirt?! It isn't that warm out, yet!"
Don't you know that you're practically naked!? Do you even think about how many perverts are in Somarium!?
All of that advice would be wasted on someone like him, though, so she keeps it to herself.
Asch raised an eyebrow at her reaction, and if he was bothered by the fact that she seemed... flustered around him (or even noticed that she was bothered), he didn't show it. Instead, he reached behind him to his pack, fishing out one of those yellow gummy things that he always had her pull out for him.
"Here, have one," he said. "They don't taste that great, but it'll help you feel better, at least for a little while."
She eyes the things warily. Asch is almost always asking for Lemon Gummies and she gives them to him, no problem. What use does she have for them?! The things show up in her underwear drawer, anyway. (She thinks he'd probably stop eating them if she told him, so she refrains. After all, it's a good bargaining chip.)
Of course, after giving him so many she'd begun to wonder what they tasted like. She'd hoped for a lemon tasting candy... but the thing tasted like pure lemon! It was digusting! She felt little hyped up afterwards, too, as if she'd just eaten a buttload of candy or something. It was, to be honest, a little diconcerting.
"I... dunno," she says. "I've tasted one before! Do you have a different flavour or something? Like... oh! I bet an orange flavour would be good! Or... pineapple? I once heard of a soda that was supposed to taste like it!"
He paused a moment, not sure if giving Haruhi a Pineapple Gummy would be... well, safe. Carefully, he pulled out a pineapple one as well, but held it up, away from her grasp.
"Try the lemon first," he said sternly. "Lemon and apple restore your health, but if that doesn't help you, I'll give you a pineapple one."
