[One thing that made it difficult to be a super solider was the increased metabolism. He got hungry faster and more often than his friends, and rather than eat all the food in their apartment, he wandered out into the city. Not only was it nice to get some fresh air, he was able to get a hotdog at his most favorite hotdog stand. A little piece of the Brooklyn he missed.
It was as he was heading back that he spotted the female on the bridge. He stopped, doing a double take, sure he wasn't seeing what he was seeing--]
[It was habit. The quick light correction with no malice. Turning about as soon as she said it, she stopped and felt a slight rush of relief. Finally a familiar face in this strange place.]
Captain Rogers? Is that really you?
[Moving closer to him, she looked up at him with a touch of worry. If Steve was here, what was happening back home? What would the Commandos do without their leader?] I don't know how I got here... one moment I was turning in at the Science and research bunks and the next I was waking up here....
It's fine. I get it... quite frequently actually. You know you could just call me Maria... [If only to cut down the confusion if possible.]
Another world? So... what I've heard from other people is true then? It just... [The scientist in her was refusing to accept it, but she'd met Morgana LeFey. That was not possible in and of itself.]
You sure? [He can call your Doctor. He'll remember, promise. ;;]
Afraid so. It's all true. [A sigh, in which he shifts on his feet.] We're not alone here, though. Peggy's here, and so is Howard. And we've got other friends from the future.
Either will work, captain. [Smiling lightly, she looked up at the sky as though it should explain how this was all possible.]
Mr. Stark? I hope there is some sort of tech to keep him busy. [The idea of a bored Howard with idle hands could prove dangerous even if it were unintentional.] Future? What sort of friends?
Alright, Maria. [He gives her a smile in return, before nodded at her question.]
Considering most of the tech here is futuristic to us, yeah, he's keeping busy. [He pauses now, rubbing the back of his head for a moment as he tries to think of the best way to explain this.] Well, for one, Thor?
Thank you. [Nodding once in appreciation, she simply laughed lightly at the fact that, yes, Howard would be busy. Better than letting him be bored and accidentally blowing up this world. Dream or not, she knew he could manage it.]
Good to know. He is best when not left with idle hands. [Then she stops. Why is she being blind sided with myths and legends today? It seemed everyone was taking all logic and tossing it out the window.]
No problem. [A bit of a smirk as she laughed and made her comment on Howard.]
Pretty much. But there's plenty to do here. [Considering the time they came from, it was probably even more amazing and fantastic to them than to others.

Yeah, it's me. And...hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're in a whole other world now.
[He knows he probably sounds crazy. He thought it was crazy too at first, but it was true.]

A pause, before he nods.] Uh- yeah. That Thor.
