Ritsuka was walking home from the Rose Academy. He was taking the long way home, wanting to catch some photos of the buildings and sunset before his light went away. He paused by the fountain, his tail swishing lightly when he started adjusting his camera to catch the sunset behind the water and the church. He thought it would be a good composition. His steps kept stepping back, not paying attention to where he was going and so the young kitten's tail frizzed quite appropriately when the back of his knees hit the not a bench, but Seishirou's legs.

His tail shot straight up when he realized he probably just hit someone. More importantly, he was touching what was likely a stranger. He spun quickly.

"Ah... um, sorry, I was just trying to get this shot..."

The camera-toting boy who bumps into him seems, for all intents and purposes, incredibly normal. The ears and tail--which, of course, are his most noticeable feature, to someone who isn't used to seeing them--however, are not. Could they be accessories? He's seen some girls in the trendier parts of Tokyo sporting similar odd things--and, occasionally, even stranger.

Still, he shakes his head with a friendly smile. "No apology necessary," he says. "It was an accident." And then, "What are you trying to get a picture of?"

Said ears bend down to rest against his head while his tail swishes nervously. He sees the shadows stretching and knows the sun is too low now. He gazes at the man and his ears suddenly perk again.

"It was the fountain, church, and sunset all in one. I thought it would be a good composition."

"Ah!" Seishirou nods in agreement at the boy's explanation. "That does seem like it would make a lovely photo. Perhaps you'll be able to catch the same scene in similar conditions around this time tomorrow?" He suggests.

As he does so, he stubs his cigarette out against the park bench. It's certainly not out of kindness, or in consideration for the child's health, but merely to maintain the pretense that he cares about such things.

Ritsuka didn't care about the cigarette. Soubi's constant smoking around him desensitized him towards smoke. His tail continued to swish as he gazed back at the fountain.

"I guess I could," he gave a shrug. He didn't care that much to be honest.

"At any rate," says Seishirou apologetically, "I'm sorry for ruining your picture by sitting here at such an inconvenient time."

It's a little ridiculous to apologize for something like that, but then again, Seishirou's typical persona is a ridiculous sort of man.

A single brow rose at that and Ritsuka looked at Seishirou for a long time in silence.

"You can't be serious about that."

"Unfortunately," Seishirou laughs, "I am entirely serious. I really do feel badly. But I suppose it was you who bumped into me, so is it safe if I call it even?"

'What a weird guy.' Ritsuka gave a slight nod as he continued to gaze at the man. His tail swished back and forth. Was someone... could someone be that nice? Yuiko was like that, but Yuiko was a bit of an idiot. Was this guy an idiot too? He didn't seem like one but Ritsuka had been disappointed by male adults before. He tilted his head to the side, ears perked.

"No, it isn't even. I bumped into you, for which I'm sorry, but it can't really be even when you did nothing wrong. There is no "even" here, at least, you have no reason to feel obligated for existing." He wasn't sure if this guy was genuinely this nice or faking it around children like Ritsuka did around adults.

Holding up his hands in a gesture of peace, Seishirou nods once. "If that is how you feel, it's entirely fine, then." It isn't as though he cares enough to argue. "I hope you have fun taking more pictures. Photography is a wonderful hobby."

"Um... thanks," his tail continued to swish as he gazed up at the man. "Sorry to interrupt... whatever you were doing."
