*Good thing Teddie has a good nose or he wouldn't have picked up your scent Sensei! And like a bear does he come down the road, trotting on his two small paws as best as he can.*

Sensei! Sensei!

*He waves as he nears, clearly so very happy to see the leader. And why in the world is he holding a ramen on his other hand ... ? Well you better ask.*

[Okay... Disregarding the fact that he doesn't know where he is, he's pretty sure seeing a walking bear, even though he knows just who that fuzzy fur belongs to, is weird as heck on its own. So, for a short time, Souji merely... stares, in surprise and slight disbelief.]

Teddie...? You're... [Whaaat. Okay, no, backing up a little. Maybe he really is going a bit delusional. He tries to shake the confusion away with a tilt of his head and the Leader Voice.] You'll burn your paw if you hold that for too long, you know.

Aw, my paw is okay Sensei. *But here is an appreciative smile.* You being here is more important anyway!

*Besides, the bowl became lukewarm from the run.* Oh boy, you came at a right time Sensei. Nana-chan just arrived to Somarium and she could really use a big bro - of course, we all missed you too!

Oh yeah, in case you don't know, this world is called Somarium.

[Nanako and Teddie... and 'we all.' Now he's feeling especially lost about all of this, staring curiously down at the bear.] You're all here...?

[It would have been nice to know exactly what was going on, but he couldn't really complain when he had a precious friend in front of him, so he just fixes his collar and gives a light shrug. There'll be time for that soon enough.]

Well, no matter what's going on, it's good to see you too, Teddie. Do you know anything else about... 'Somarium'? [It sounds sort of weird when he says it, since it's so... unfamiliar. Hmm.]

Umm, I don't know if I can explain it right ... *How else can he tell Sensei more about this world? Somarium was in some ways more confusing than the TV world after all.*

I know. Do you have the new cellphone Sensei? It should look something like - *he mysteriously pulls out his own Dreamberry out of nowhere.* It should look something like this.

[With a single nod, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out his own device. He regards it with -- well, about as much confusion as he's been regarding everything else, and holds it gently between his fingertips.]

This? It's not the sort of thing I'm used to seeing.

Me neither. Although I think Junes were advertising something similar ... Well, putting that aside for now. There are these documents you can look up here. I tried reading it ... but - *A sheepish giggle*

There were too many large words.

But maybe Sensei can understand it? You're super smart after all!

Documents...? [Well, that was handy. He flicks open the device, which in turn pulls up a bunch of... stuff. Dreamberry stuff that doesn't make much sense, even though he can probably read the words more efficiently than Teddie can.

Glancing between the screen and his little fuzzy friend, he quirks a brow.]

Want me to read them for you?

*Teddie stops sipping on the bowl of ramen he brought with him and nods enthusiastically. Maybe he can finally make a sense of what the words mean.*

Yeah! I would love to hear it Sensei. But we might want to get somewhere warmer ... Aren't you cold?

[Souji nods once. Always nice to be the Good Guy.]

Ah, yeah. I'm freezing. The water is a lot colder than it looks. [Can't you tell by the way he isn't shivering or complaining at all? But, yes, it is cold, and going somewhere else sounds just peachy.]

Did you have anywhere in mind?

We can go back to Dusk ... But it is kind of far away ...

*Aha! Teddie snaps his fingers.* But there is a tavern near here. It smells kind of funny, but it's warm and nice inside Sensei. *It is also where he got this ramen believe it or not.*

So how about it Sensei?

Warm and nice... Sounds good to me. It has to be better than standing out here. I think everyone will start giving me strange looks soon. [It's meant to be lighthearted, but he still manages to sound concerned enough. Go figure.

Souji gives Teddie a quick nod and a small smile.] I'm in your hands, Teddie. Lead the way.

*Teddie puffs out his chest and thumps it for a good measure.* You can count on me Sensei. Follow this bear and we'll reach there no time.

*And has Teddie ever lied about his skills as radar? Soon enough, the two are standing in front of the tavern. Through the window you can see the fireplace lit with fire.*

This is it! *He swings the door open.* C'mon Sensei.

[Never doubt the bear.

Keeping close behind, Souji glances overhead to get a good look at the tavern he was being lead into -- not that that's awfully hard to do, what with the height difference. It feels nice to be welcomed to a warmer, homelier spot, despite how unfamiliar he is with places like this.

He glances down at Teddie curiously.] Are you sure we're allowed here? I'm not old enough to drink. [And who even knows how old Teddie is. Souji sort of figures it doesn't matter anyway, but it's something to fill the silence.]

*...*

You know ... That's a good question, but the workers here never asked me about my age - *Well then again who would as a bear whether or not he's underage.* So hopefully it'll be okay!
