[The first thing Souji realized upon awakening was that he was drowning.
Ice-cold, crystal clear and blindingly bright water flooded his vision, the sky and distant peaks of buildings shifting above the ripples of the surface only making him

Sensei! Sensei!
*He waves as he nears, clearly so very happy to see the leader. And why in the world is he holding a ramen on his other hand ... ? Well you better ask.*

Teddie...? You're... [Whaaat. Okay, no, backing up a little. Maybe he really is going a bit delusional. He tries to shake the confusion away with a tilt of his head and the Leader Voice.] You'll burn your paw if you hold that for too long, you know.

*Besides, the bowl became lukewarm from the run.* Oh boy, you came at a right time Sensei. Nana-chan just arrived to Somarium and she could really use a big bro - of course, we all missed you too!
Oh yeah, in case you don't know, this world is called Somarium.

[It would have been nice to know exactly what was going on, but he couldn't really complain when he had a precious friend in front of him, so he just fixes his collar and gives a light shrug. There'll be time for that soon enough.]
Well, no matter what's going on, it's good to see you too, Teddie. Do you know anything else about... 'Somarium'? [It sounds sort of weird when he says it, since it's so... unfamiliar. Hmm.]

I know. Do you have the new cellphone Sensei? It should look something like - *he mysteriously pulls out his own Dreamberry out of nowhere.* It should look something like this.
Reply
This? It's not the sort of thing I'm used to seeing.

There were too many large words.
But maybe Sensei can understand it? You're super smart after all!

Glancing between the screen and his little fuzzy friend, he quirks a brow.]
Want me to read them for you?
Reply
Yeah! I would love to hear it Sensei. But we might want to get somewhere warmer ... Aren't you cold?
Reply
Ah, yeah. I'm freezing. The water is a lot colder than it looks. [Can't you tell by the way he isn't shivering or complaining at all? But, yes, it is cold, and going somewhere else sounds just peachy.]
Did you have anywhere in mind?

*Aha! Teddie snaps his fingers.* But there is a tavern near here. It smells kind of funny, but it's warm and nice inside Sensei. *It is also where he got this ramen believe it or not.*
So how about it Sensei?
Reply
Souji gives Teddie a quick nod and a small smile.] I'm in your hands, Teddie. Lead the way.
Reply
*And has Teddie ever lied about his skills as radar? Soon enough, the two are standing in front of the tavern. Through the window you can see the fireplace lit with fire.*
This is it! *He swings the door open.* C'mon Sensei.

Keeping close behind, Souji glances overhead to get a good look at the tavern he was being lead into -- not that that's awfully hard to do, what with the height difference. It feels nice to be welcomed to a warmer, homelier spot, despite how unfamiliar he is with places like this.
He glances down at Teddie curiously.] Are you sure we're allowed here? I'm not old enough to drink. [And who even knows how old Teddie is. Souji sort of figures it doesn't matter anyway, but it's something to fill the silence.]

You know ... That's a good question, but the workers here never asked me about my age - *Well then again who would as a bear whether or not he's underage.* So hopefully it'll be okay!
