Alright they really had to stop meeting like this. Though technically Allen had no idea who this person was in reality. You would think after over a year in Somarium he would come to expect such strange occurrences. Regardless he saw a person in great distress so of course he would try to help him out.
"Excuse me? Are you alright, sir?" Allen asked, offering a hand for the man to take hold of and pull himself up if possible. No one wanted introductions in such a humiliating manner after all.
Timcampy was snuggled up in Allen's scarf of course. He hated the cold and the wind which would not allow him to fly for even five minutes without getting a decent amount of snow thrown in his *face*. He eyed the man curiously and the cross on his front morphed into a question mark. Odd? Who was this guy? Why did he feel familiar?
The second he saw him approaching, Wheatley pushed his feet in the slippery snow uselessly, trying to scoot away as much as he could.
"No, I'm n-not! N-not in any s-sense of the word!"
In his panic, he had enough sense to realize that the boy was holding out a hand to him. His eyes flicked between the offered hand, and the boy's face. One could never know. Maybe he was trying to trick him. Humans did that to each other.
"You! I know you! You're... What was your name again?" He mumbled to himself, squinting at the boy for a moment. It wasn't very long until a look of realization shined through on his face, finally breaking him out of his blind confusion. "Allen? Th-that was it! You're A-Allen, right?"
Oookay. Was he intimidating in some way? Allen really couldn't see how. He didn't take back the offered hand though he was looking increasingly puzzled at the strong reaction he had earned.
His confusion only grew when the man spoke his name.
"Why yes, my name is indeed Allen. I don't believe we have met?" he asked politely just before Timcampy flew up from his comfy shelter and proceeded to circle around Wheatley.
"Funny s-story. We actually have, j-just not like this... Ah!"
He couldn't help but wince slightly when he saw the bird thing come at him. Already he was half expecting for it to lift him up in the air, and then he blinked an eye open. As it circled, his eyes tracked it as it passed in front of him.
That reaction was definitely familiar to say the least. Allen's mind was starting to poke around the edges of the truth.
"Might I ask your name?" Allen said as he watched Timcampy out of the corner of his eye. Things were definitely odd about this meeting.
Timcampy however seemed to reach the truth faster than Allen as he decided to perch on top of Wheatley's new head before starting to pat at the hair with his tiny hands.
"Oh! R-Right! The body! It's me! Wh--- AHH AHH! NO!"
He had to have his typical reaction, tensing up and nearly swiping at the tiny creature, before remembering he was bloody massive and he couldn't be picked up. Still, it wasn't comfortable to have it sitting on him.
This was ridiculous. Regardless it seemed Timcampy was the source of this man's panic at the moment so Allen snapped his fingers to get Tim's attetion.
"Come back Tim. You are bother the gentleman." Allen said strictly. The golem glared defiantly at Allen before grudgingly flying off and settling on a tree branch above Allen making sure to shake some snow off which Allen easily sidestepped to avoid.
